Fourth AfD Candidate Dies Unexpectedly Ahead of Local Elections

Another AfD candidate has died ahead of NRW’s local elections—the fourth such case in recent months. Ralph Lange’s sudden death in Blomberg has fuelled speculation, after economist Stefan Homburg called the coincidences ‘statistically almost impossible’, a view amplified by Elon Musk.

    20,000
Number of candidates running. Some of all parties have died. So far, authorities say the AfD deaths are from pre-existing conditions.
It is too early to go with a conspiracy theory. 🤨

    For our British friends …
    they’re not ‘migrant hotels’.
    They are garrisons.

Just sayin’ cause you probably can’t.
    I can.
At least until the next Democrat POTUS is installed.

Officially – per their BBC – the police are ‘routinely armed’.
      And no weapon was drawn.
But five armed men ‘suggesting’ you “Come along there” may be hard to refuse!

There’s no need to grab someone at an airport as soon as they land (or smash down their door at 6am) for such an allegation/low risk individual and no rule that says the routinely armed airport police, who are not even actually dealing with the allegation, need to be the police who make the arrest.

I didn’t realise “Father Ted” was so dangerous!!

“Police arrested television comedy writer Graham Linehan, a creator of the Father Ted, Black Books, and The IT Crowd series, after five officers met him at Heathrow Airport on Monday when he returned to the UK after several weeks away.”

MILLIONS OF BRITS MOVE TO NORTH KOREA

They accomplished this without even realising it. They also got transported back to 1984.

The quite outrageous attacks on free speech continue in the UK. Actually, I should be more specific; for the purposes of this clampdown we should acknowledge that the ‘crimes’ of speech and thought aren’t trying lo limit speech but any and all criticism of LEFTIST/GLOBALIST policies and politicians, along with their protected minorities. A person can say the Pope is the Devil, no problem, but say anything bad about the Koran and it’s off to jail you go (assuming followers of The Religion of Peace don’t shoot you in the head first).

The latest example is the arrest of a chap called Graham Linehan, who is a well-known comedy writer. He made some comments on Twitter which displayed an unacceptable attitude toward access to women’s restroom by men ‘identifying’ as women. Being a comedian, he suggested that real women, if confronted by a trans woman in the restrooms, “punch him in the balls”. Ha Ha – hilarious!

Thanks to this egregious call for violence (seriously) he was arrested by five armed police officers when he arrived back in the UK. They were obviously aware of which flight he was on and lying in wait for him, so it was a full-on ‘Interpol’ incident. He was placed in a cell awaiting further action but took ill with massive stress and anxiety so had to be taken to hospital. He’s OK now, but I don’t know if he’s been charged with anything. Maybe the Stasi just wanted a chat?

So that’s where the UK is right now. Four out of five reports of shoplifting receive no response from the police, but say something on Twitter that the government doesn’t like and you’ll be surrounded by armed police before being banged up. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but it’s real – just ask a lady called Lucy Connolly, who was handed a 31 month jail sentence for saying an asylum seekers’ hotel should be burned to the ground following the tragic murder of some little girls by a young man from an immigrant family. She thought better of it and took down the tweet pretty quickly, but the Stasi had already seen it. The fact that she is married to a Tory councillor (i.e. a conservative opponent of the current leftist government) was immaterial, they said …

I value my time working wood. I now only use stainless steel screws – price difference is negligible. My preference is Phillips head for small screws (setting the torque limit prevents “camping out” of the heads. For larger wood screws, the torx head is my preferred.

Bunnings now stock stainless bolts as well as the stainless screws. They also have stainless threaded bar. Amazon have packs of small wood screws that are good value.

    Help requested. !
Wondering if someone with better internet knowhow than me can suggest a solution to this issue that continues to bug me and prevents me updating the http://nemlog.com.au/gen/region/ Site,
Previously i have asked here if others can access the site without problems and been assured they had no problem , but for me i cannot see any data reporting after Aug 8th, 5 am.
I normally acces via DDG or Safari on an iPad, but the same problem is present when accessing on a mobile (iPhone)
Assuming the problem is unique to me, can anyone suggest a cause or work around to let me continue to use my favorite Au electricity generation data source.

Ah… the smooth functioning of the public service!… So important compared to knowing what the Govt is doing!

“Labor is set to introduce legislation within hours to force Australians to pay for access to government documents under freedom of information laws, to combat anonymous bot requests and allow public servants to give frank advice. The legislation has been criticised by the opposition, who described it as a “truth tax”, while the government has called it a necessary step to ensure the smooth functioning of the public service.”

Albanese is looking for more smooth functioning as PM, none of this disagreement please…

“Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has warned his political opponents against fuelling radicalism and threats to politicians after the weekend’s anti-immigration rallies, the arrests of neo-Nazis and growing concern about far-right conspiracists.”

..and Vic’s latest dictator has forgotten the days of eggs and rotten fruit being thrown at politicians by a disgruntled public.

“Parliament was again engulfed in debate over extremism on a day when Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan was confronted by a prominent neo-Nazi, an incident Albanese labelled as “horrific”.”

…of course Suusssan Lay is a politician in the end, her ‘opposition’ is as fake as her policies.

“Opposition Leader Sussan Ley says she “felt sick” watching footage of neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell ambushing Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan at her press conference yesterday morning, and is calling for further efforts to de-escalate rising tensions following Sunday’s nationwide anti-immigration protests. ”

If only they didn’t have to deal with these horrible deplorables called voters, they would have smooth functioning all the way to their pension scheme!

Recall when some clueless wokester thought it would be a good idea to make an all-electric Australian Army Bushmaster “protected mobility vehicle”. Well, that’s now been modified to a hybrid, although it still will no doubt have extra unwanted complexity and maintenance issues, not desired for a military vehicle.

    https://www.australiandefence.com.au/news/news/1st-armoured-regiment-to-trial-revised-electric-bushmaster

Army unveiled the ePMV, powered by a 113-kilowatt-hour battery, at the 2022 Chief of Army Symposium in Adelaide. The design’s key benefits, touted at the time, were its lower thermal signature compared to a normal Bushmaster and the ability to loiter silently and easily export power.

Those benefits came with a significant penalty to range. Compared to the standard Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV), the ePMV could only drive around a third as far and was reliant on deployable generators to charge.

To address those constraints while preserving some of the benefits of electrification, the ePMV prototype is now being converted to a hybrid diesel-electric configuration. The upgrade will extend the ePMV’s range to be comparable with the standard Bushmaster PMV while maintaining a ‘comparable’ logistics footprint.

“The Australian Army is working with Australian defence industry to upgrade its prototype electric Bushmaster protected mobility vehicle (ePMV) to a diesel-electric hybrid. This upgrade will provide the ePMV with a range comparable to the standard Bushmaster vehicle,” a Defence spokesperson told ADM.

Meanwhile, the solar panel users are ruining te AUstralian environment, so someone will have to pay-

“the country faces “an escalating solar PV panel crisis”, says a joint statement drafted by the Council and signed by organisations and companies including the AMWU, the Australian Industry Group, Veolia and the Climate Council….Australian households would pay a $10 fee for solar panel recycling when they buy new panels under a proposal by a coalition of industry, union and environment groups as millions of solar panels reach the end of their lives and flow into the waste stream.”

Ten bucks! Haha! Who are they trying to kid! It will be over $100 in a few years and just keep going up. The recycling industry know who to get on their side to make sure they succeed!

“Recyclers say a 10¢ container refund has no ‘pulling power’. They want it doubled”

    80

    • #
      David Maddison

The whole container recycling thing is BS anyway.

What problem was it meant to solve?

At home people put recyclable containers in the recycling bin and lose their 10c. Outside of home they throw them in the garbage and still lose their 10c.

I did once try to collect the containers at home. It used a lot of space. Then I had to drive to the recycling depot twice as it wasn’t working the first time. I probably spent more on petrol and wear on my car than I got back as a refund.

In addition, when they imposed the 10c deposit the price of drinks went up much more than 10c.

I would like to know who profits from this useless scheme.

Meanwhile my behaviour remains unchanged, I still put containers in recycling or garbage but now I pay much more for drinks. E.g. I drink Pepsi Max. I only buy it on sale. I used to usually pay $1.10 for 1.25 litres, now I pay $2 sale price.

I am a victim of this scheme – for what?

I posted months ago on what other countries are doing in this area and how well it works.

It’s irritating how much some soft drinks have gone up in a year. 90c to $1.40?
The base costs are trivial, mere cents, flavouring, water and CO2.
Maybe they’re trying to recoup the new CO2 plants cost.
Just like a supermarket roast chook – the farmer gets 30c, you pay $13. Where’s the money go? /and don’t say transport.

They could, if they wanted to, put a 20c or 30c deposit on them to make the hassle worth it.
Or just switch to biodegradable containers.

Chaff bags are large enough to store our meager use of recyclable bottles for 4-6 weeks. And the recycle center is next door to the most economical chemist for the purchasing of slow release pain killer meds (generic please). So the major effort involved is ensuring the empties are washed before being dumped in the bag and remembering to take the full bag along to town. Nets about $5…. per trip

Optimistic I think. Add in the possibility of a day where the grid supply is missing please.
OTOH every building which sees mainly daytime use (and manages to meet the current lighting requirements) should probably have solar panels on its roof. Help support lowering the daily grid supply maximum !
And cool down the car parks (summertime) temperatures by adding solar panels there. Dual use is good economic sense.

Woke Rats Jump Ship As Trump Puts CDC Under A Microscope

The covid pandemic was an exceptional example of the abuse of government power and the classic error of putting blind faith in scientific institutions that are vulnerable to political and corporate manipulation.

To put it simply, the hysteria over covid was entirely fabricated and the CDC played a primary role in perpetuating the fear.

The CDC knew as early as October of 2020 that the median Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) of covid was a tiny 0.23% (meaning 99.8% of the population was not under threat).

The death rate was far below the 3% initially predicted by the World Health Organization. The data also didn’t take into account the fact that the majority of deaths were people with comorbidities – Meaning many of them likely died of a different illness or long term health problems, but covid was officially assumed to be the cause.

The CDC response should have been focused on caring for the older subset of the American population which was at greater risk.

Instead, the organization tried to terrorize the public with tales of hospitals “packed to capacity with the unvaccinated” while suffering on respirators (no evidence has ever been produced to support this claim).

The CDC joined with Democrats to fear monger over “mass deaths in the streets”. They initially lied about the effectiveness of the shot (it is now well known that the covid vaccine does not prevent transmission). They lied about the effectiveness of natural immunity. They lied about the effectiveness of the masks. They lied about the effectiveness of social distancing. They defended the lockdowns (which were an abject failure).

Almost every aspect of the pandemic response ended up being a farce. The CDC and many of its employees act as a political propaganda mechanism, not as an objective scientific guardian of the public good. The organization functions like a cult that worships far-left bureaucratic leadership instead of adhering to the scientific method.

After the firing of CDC Director Susan Monarez for refusing to institute Trump’s policy changes, the rush for the exits has begun. The woke creatures are now slithering out of the weeds to escape RFK Jr’s lawnmower.

A glaring example is the resignation of Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, a CDC director who has attacked Trump’s policies as dangerous and “unscientific”. It is perhaps no coincidence that Daskalakis is a LGBT activist that promotes transgender treatments for children (a highly unscientific practice).

This is the kind of person that rises through the ranks at the CDC:

Dystopian Rollout Of Digital IDs & CBDCs Is Happening

The plan is to replace your government-issued ID with a Digital ID, but it’s not just a card in your phone. It is fundamentally built upon your immutable biometrics: your fingerprints, the precise structure of your face, the unique pattern of your iris.

This biometric data is the key.

It is the hard link that ties your physical body directly to your digital identity credential.

Your very body becomes your password. The reason this is so critical for them is the financial system. UN & Bank for International Settlements docs overtly state that Digital ID and CBDCs are designed to be integrated.

The system cannot exist without this biometric digital ID.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/dystopian-rollout-digital-ids-cbdcs-happening

    It’s a catastrophe in the making, security-wise.
With a conventional password & 2FA, which is what I use, if there’s a breach, I can change my password easily.
The masses haven’t woken up to the fact that one can’t change one’s fingerprints or retinal image.
Once the data is compromised, it’s compromised permanently.
So what do you do then? I don’t know.
The government sure as hell doesn’t.
DYK a fingerprint can be left on a glass and read from across the room?
Or criminals using copied retinal scans for high security access?
A growing number of countries have banned biometric data now, but here in the southern 1984 colony, it’s still being pushed.

Pritzker Deflects as Chicago Violence Surges: No Solutions, Just Trump Blame

Over the weekend, Chicago was rocked by another wave of violence: 54 people shot, seven killed. When pressed on the grim statistics, Democrat Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker didn’t offer a plan, a solution, or even concern. Instead, he deflected:

“Look, big cities have crime… but let’s just pay attention to what President Trump is doing,” Pritzker said.

In one sentence, Pritzker brushed aside the suffering of his own citizens and pivoted to partisan politics — a sadly familiar move from a governor whose city has become synonymous with violence and lawlessness.

Last week, Scarborough downplayed crime in Democrat-led cities.

“If you look at most crime charts, seven, eight of the top 10 deadliest cities in America, big cities, are usually in red states,” he said Aug. 26.

He added that Americans are “400 times more likely to be killed in Louisiana than in California.”

    However

. Of the 20 cities with the highest homicide rates in the country, 12 are located in red states, but only one currently has a Republican mayor.

. And while Shreveport, La, currently has a Republican mayor, a Republican has run the city only 11 of the past 152 years.

. It’s been 50 years since Birmingham, Alabama, last had a Republican mayor.

. The last time there was a Republican mayor in St. Louis, Mo., was 1949.

.Atlanta hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1879; New Orleans, hasn’t seen one since 1872.

. In Indianapolis, the homicide rate has been elevated ever since Democrats gained control of the mayorship in 2017. From 2010 through 2016, the annual number of homicides in the city averaged around 120. Since then, it’s averaged 201.

. The Republican mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson, ran twice as a Democrat and switched to the GOP less than two years ago.

Well, you might ask, what does it matter who the mayor is? The reason it matters is that crime is local. And local law enforcement is what matters.

New study reveals the disturbing secret minds of vegetarians

The investigation, ‘Rethinking Vegetarianism: Differences Between Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians in the Endorsement of Basic Human Values’ by Professor John Nezlek, of SWPS University in Warsaw, appeared in the journal PLOSOne in May.

They were also asked to identify whether they were vegetarians, vegans or carnivores. Analysis of subsequent replies appeared to demonstrate that, contrary to the stereotype of lovey-dovey hippies like lentil-loving Neil from The Young Ones, the average vegetarian in fact showed a greater desire to try and wield power over their fellow men than the average eater of meat. They were also deemed more likely to value social status, and less likely to value kindness (as opposed to showy displays of #BeKindness).

Meat-eaters were found by Nezlek’s estimation to be more concerned with caring for family and friends, not upsetting the feelings of others unnecessarily, and upholding social stability, safety and traditional norms of behaviour – in other words, being mentally and morally normal. Vegetarians, however, were deemed to be more manipulative and ambitious, seeking to gain higher status positions in society from which to impose their wider niche political viewpoints (which centred more upon promoting novelty, stimulus and innovation) upon others.

Famously, Greta is a vegan. Equally famously, she is, as Donald Trump has recently pointed out, “a strange person” who really “has to go to anger management class” before she gets so furious that she ends up finally killing someone just for eating some crab-sticks. But why is Greta a vegan? One could be forgiven for thinking that, rather than saving the planet, she really just wants to control the lives of everyone living on it.

Greta has openly admitted one of her chief aims in life during her early period of environmental activism was to emotionally manipulate her parents into going vegan too by “making them feel guilty”. In her own words:

I kept telling them that they were stealing our future and they cannot stand up for human rights while living that lifestyle. So then they decided to make those changes. My dad is vegan, my mom, she tries – she’s 90% vegan.

Giant Stonehenge site uncovered, ten times larger than known

The revelation of a new monument at Stonehenge, discovered using advanced archaeological techniques, has astounded historians and archaeologists alike. This newly uncovered structure is approximately ten times larger than the original Stonehenge, with estimates suggesting it spans a vast area, dwarfing the familiar circle of standing stones. The dimensions of this colossal structure indicate a level of architectural skill and societal organization previously unrecognized.

DYK Stonehenge was purchased by a lawyer in 1905 for £6,600 as a present for his wife, who actually wanted new curtains, so was passed thereafter into public ownership, with conditions.

Well, it is a bit draughty… The curtains would be a better buy!

We followed a school group into Stonehenge years ago. One of the kids asked a teacher why did they build it so close to the A Road?

Bit like the pyramids in Egypt really. Fair question.

    The modern telephone system

Has anyone else had second thoughts on the transition of billing information on our telephone system? The detailed call listings are no “history” with the advent of “unlimited calling”.
OK I accept your mobile phone does contain a record of your calls. But the landlines do not. Additionally overseas calls are subject to a set of time limits, after which a “call package” must be purchased.
My issue is that the call history documents my calls to overseas financial institutions which was easy to access when calling a second (or third) time to get a particular problem resolved.

Has anyone managed to get a detailed call history returned to their monthly billing? Or are the majority of people happy with their prepaid plans?

Just perused the Victoria Police /sarc. webpage rearding the ‘machete amnesty’. The disposal bins, costing a total of 13 million dollars, or something like $325,00 each, are positioned outside police stations, under lights and cctv surveillance, so the bad boys are certain to expose themselves as they drop off their illegal weapons aren’t they? Reading down the page I came across the startling revelation that if you can’t make it to your nearest bin, you can simply HAND YOUR MACHETE IN OVER THE COUNTER. Wow, we could have saved $13,000,000. right there.
Furthermore, it is rumoured, via David Limbrick and others, that the bins were manufactured by inmates at Mt. Gambier prison, which gave the opportunity for the Victorian government to deny rumours they were made by VICTORIAN prisoners.

      $325,000 EACH !!😳😳..WTF ?
…and made by prison inmates ?
..Someone is having a lend here for sure.
Can we follow the money trail to see who has trousered the bulk of that $13 million ?
It would have been better/ cheaper to simply offer $100 cash ,..no questions asked,.. for each machete !

The Vic Gov website says the bins are at 45 locations, which I assume means 45 bins. Meaning the average cost of a bin was only $288,889 each.
Yes, $325,000 would have been a complete rip off. But now seeing they’re only $288,889 and also considering that a chunk of the GST on that goes back to the same state government, it all seems completely above board.

At $288,889 each, there was clearly no need for a tender process given it’s a bargain basement price. That’s just based on what I’ve seen used Machete Bins going for in the Trading Post. New bins like these, it’s a great deal and we should be grateful to have a government that’s so careful with money.

Ah- Is EG around?? Anywhere? The leader of China reviewing the parade today…

“China’s president, Xi Jinping, has hosted the country’s largest-ever military parade, flanked by North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump asked China’s leader to give Mr Putin and Mr Kim his “warmest regards” as they “conspire against The United States of America”.”

…and I was wondering which language they would talk in-

“Mr Xi greeted the more than 20 leaders who attended, saying “Nice to meet you” and “Welcome to China” in English.”

Overused word of the week…..COHORT .
Has anyone else noticed the sudden infiltration of this word ..COHORT..into every media outlet , TV and Radio news, Politicians,+ multiple advertisements ?
The latest being this COHORT of ex ozzie ISIS widows who are about to return to Australia from Syria.
Obviously, there is very little independent thought being put into public anouncements..
Or is it that its all AI generated word salad these days.

    Pauline Hanson’s One Nation

    Happy National Flag Day!

Our flag is something to be proud of, to look up to, and to cherish. It symbolises unity, hope, and direction for what is still a young and ambitious nation.

Our team is busy packing flags on back-order over the last few weeks. They are locally made, in Brisbane. Our supplier is one of the only flag makers in the whole country. Aussie made flags!

    LOVE OUR FLAG SHIRT

One Nation will always fight to protect our flag. Over 45,000 Australians signed a petition calling on parliament to legislate its protection, that petition was tabled by Senator Hanson yesterday.

Our next battle? Today the Greens used their numbers to ban the wearing of the Australian Flag in the Senate.

Lucky the Greens were not out at Australia’s marches over the weekend, as we’re sure they would have had some stern resistance. Hundreds of thousands of Australians marched to defend our way of life, free from mass migration, standing proudly together under one flag.

To mark the first of many marches for Australia, we’re releasing two special shirts. They’re perfect for your next march, or even for Australia Day.

So, when we go this charade at Christmas and all have to get a biometric Govt-approve ID to go on the net, so we’re keeping the children safe, (lol), then they know exactly who is on the net at each connection….

AND WE CAN DEMAND A VOTE ON EVERYTHING THAT GOES THROUGH ANY PUBLIC COUNCIL, STATE GOVT, OR CANBERRA!!

They then have the ID of every person that votes, so its a water-tight system for real democracy!

We won’t need MPs to ‘represent’ us, we can do it ourselves, thank-you very much.
