Trumps two year Sting for foreign interference? Executive Order 13848 may trigger by Dec 18

Trump has options and much more power than most people have any idea of

The end of the road is not the Supreme Court. It’s not December 14, and it’s not even the House and a contingent election. Trump is still The President til Jan 20th.

Watch this space: There’s a possible Sting Op of a major scale

Trump signs Executive Order, Image by Inited States Senate - Office of Dan Sullivan.

If it pans out, we will need industrial scale popcorn. It is just speculation, but what a blockbuster tale.

Back in September 2018, President Trump made an executive order which was interpreted then in “the Russian collusion” threat, because that was what was on the minds of the commentariat at the time.  But it may turn out to be a historic trap sprung against foreign actors and their domestic collaborators. It arms Trump with a process to investigate foreign interference in elections. Given the scale of fraud, in the US of A today, it’s not unthinkable that The Great Reset will instead become the The Great Cleansing of the Deep State. That’s if the servers and voting machines still have evidence of foreign interference in the US election. But watch for signs that EO 13848 is live — because it may send people to jail.

Remember the two 3 star generals who said military intel had captured the CIA servers from Germany, and there may have been deaths involved? It’s like a Tom Clancy novel but bigger, and we get to watch it live,… pieced together through  glimpses, hints and whatever was the-most-censored Youtube today!(If it is true).

I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the ability of persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States to interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation, constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.

Let’s hope those servers and machines were not wiped before they could be seized.

If triggered, EO 13848 compels a federal government investigation of possible interference by foreign governments. The report by John Ratcliffe the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) heoretically must be presented within 45 days of the election — which means by Dec 18. Eight days to go.

Six days ago Ratcliffe said: “‘Now, I think one of the things that we did well this election was addressing problems from foreign interference, influence campaigns from other countries that we saw in 2016.” Oh, Holy Dominion, really?

Yesterday Donald Trump said: ““The case has been made, and now we find out what we can do about it,” Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House. “You’ll see a lot of big things happening over the next couple of days.”

The signs are there

Replay the last month again through the lens of a President armed with an executive order that put the US on an emergency footing two years ago and that hasn’t been retracted. He warned, he knew, that election fraud was coming. In the last four weeks he’s sacked key players across Defense and through the Pentagon and installed outspoken supporters. This is not the act of a man defeated, or a man expecting to be out of office in six weeks time. But it might be the act of a man playing 4 D Chess, planning a strategic disassembly of the biggest threat to the US since the Cold War. (And of course, this is the Christmas Wish of free men everywhere, so keep the skeptical hat on.)

Trump has afterall sworn an Oath  to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Replay his 46 minute “Greatest speech” and hear the legal phrases that mirror the EO words.

“The only conceivable reason why you would block commonsense measures to verify legal eligibility for voting is you are trying to encourage, enable, solicit or carry out fraud.”

As I said at the time. He was solemn and deadly serious; a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but also man determined to solve it. He was not a businessman doing a deal. Not exaggerating. No gambits.

Note too, the Attorney General would have a major role if the EO is in play — and Barr is rumoured to be resigning. Is Barr unwilling to stand at the helm of this Battleship, but also unwilling to stand in its way? If the EO is triggered, what follows will be historic.

Something is going on: staff are being purged in Defense and Intelligence

No one seems able to explain why there are so many high ranking jobs and advisors being moved.

Since the election Trump has sacked Pentagon and Defense Department Officials and installed loyalists in Senior positions. Biden’s team is being blocked from meeting with Pentagon’s spy agencies.  The president fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper weeks ago, and last week fired all  members of the Defence Business Board, 11 of 13 of the Defence Policy Board . Trump replaced Esper with Chris Miller who was formerly the director of the National Counterterrorism Centre. This “purging” doesn’t seem like the act of a man on the way out, who’s choices could be replaced in seven weeks time.

On the 11 of November an MSN report suggested the shuffling of top defense officials was probably so that Trump can bring troops home for Christmas as he promised, and which the Dept of Defence had been slowing. But the purges continue. It also could be that President Trump is planning to do something much more ambitious — like fight back against the Deep State, corrupt Democrats and foreign players.

Some wonder, if something this big is going down, why keep it quiet, which is a very fair question. Others suggest that a longer patient game let’s the criminals reveal their hands and the good guys collect more evidence. The more mundane truth may be that Trump et al are still h0ping for a Supreme Court resolution first, or that the DNI report is just not ready yet.

What the EO does and does not do

Section 1: Figuring out if election interference has occurred and reporting on it

Ed Stein of the LawFareBlog point out the EO sets out a process for reporting on “interference” as it relates to “Election Infrastructure” which basically means all the electronic equipment like tabulation and voting machines,  transmission lines and also voter databases. There are two reports, each with 45 day deadlines — one for the DNI to report and one after that for the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security.

Section 1 of the order establishes an interagency process for determining whether election interference has occurred. First, the director of national intelligence (DNI) has 45 days to determine—in consultation with appropriate agencies—whether “a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in [any election for Federal office].” Second, within 45 days after receiving the DNI’s assessment, the attorney general and secretary of homeland security—in consultation with appropriate agencies—are to send the president and the secretaries of state, defense and the treasury a report evaluating two questions:

(i) the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and

(ii) if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data.

The directive also requires the report to “identify any material issues of fact with respect to these matters that the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security are unable to evaluate or reach agreement on at the time the report is submitted.”

Section 2 Punishment coming:

The sanctions include ones for foreign people and separate measures against the states involved with White House discretion, rather than automatically triggered  sanctions. There is a Section 3 — which gives the White House the choice to take a variety of measures.

Commenter Lance says:  The EO’s establish very severe penalties for election interference including asset forfeiture, seizing bank accounts, cutting off all electronic forms of banking, etc. in addition to making Federal Felony crimes. Serious stuff.

Anyone, anywhere, who violated 13848, US or Foreign, can be sanctioned, arrested, tried, convicted and imprisoned. That includes those who hacked voting systems, provided equipment or software, etc and those who participated in the use of such things. Trump set up a trap in 2018 and will soon execute the trap.

On 20 Sep 2018, he [Trump, also] issued E.O. 13849, empowering the US Treasury and State Dept to impose sanctions on Banking, credit, assets, import, etc, including forfeiture, seizure, arrest, prosecution.

Lance: He set a trap 2 years ago.

Chris Miller recently consolidated all US Special Forces under single command. None of them answer to the Pentagon. All of them answer to the Sec. of Defense and he answers to the President.

Mike Adams, Natural News, Nov 2020

Chris Miller, who previously served as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, described the changes as “tectonic” and as being pursued to “combat transnational threats.”

But he also said something even more interesting:

“As we implement the President’s orders, we also recognize that transitions and campaigns are fraught with risk and unexpected challenges and opportunities. That is why I am here today to announce that I have directed the special operations civilian leadership to report directly to me instead of through the current bureaucrat channels. This historic step finalizes what Congress has authorized and directed and will put Special Operations Command on par with the military services for the first time.”

Election rigging is also a felony crime under current U.S. law.

We remain under the National Emergency declared in 2018. Those forces can be deployed instantly by Presidential Direction without conference with anyone. Let that sink in. Be patient. It isn’t over until Noon on 20 Jan 2021.

This will be an interesting few days or weeks. Interesting doesn’t begin to describe things.

Will President Trump Execute Order 13848? By Callum Wood, on Nov 23.

Wood says the EO is tailor made for the situation Trump and the US find themselves in:

This document was signed under a state of national emergency that exists to this day. Strong language. At the time, many Democrats rejected it as too little, too late. They criticized it for focusing too exclusively on ballot-counting machines and software — the exact problem we see crippling America’s election process right now. …

Dominion Voting Systems, Smartmatic and Scytl are all companies with foreign ties that were used in these elections, and there are reports that other companies from Germany and Serbia were also involved. All of these would then fall under the scope of Executive Order 13848.

What does that allow the Trump administration to do? It allows, among other things, the seizure of property within the United States, restrictions on access to financial institutions, and “any other measures authorized by law.”

And who could be targeted? Any companies or persons that have “directly or indirectly engaged in, sponsored, concealed, or otherwise been complicit in foreign interference in a United States election.” Could that include companies and members of the mainstream media and big tech? “The Trump executive order about rigging elections … means clearly that the net can be cast very wide,” radio commentator Alan Jones stated. “It will be a brave person who is prepared to bet, even now, against Donald Trump.”

We have witnessed a coordinated attempt to steal an election. And it is, in large part, coming from within the United States. Yes, the ballot counting machines and hardware are foreign-owned, but it was the radical left and its media cabal that worked to rig the election.

This order allows the Justice Department to go after foreign interference aided by complicit cooperation on U.S. soil. All that remains is for the evidence to come out.

The bottom line at the moment is that we don’t know. If the EO for foreign interference was unfolding we could have expected to see some of the activity we have seen.  But if those servers or machines were wiped, this may be the sting that nipped, not the Grand Mal demolition of the corrupt Deep State we all hope to see. Beware: confirmation bias beckons.

Douglas Wilson points out these are extraordinary powers, perhaps too extraordinary:

Now if he does take action on the basis of the executive order, and does so in a way that simply kicks the issues involved into the courts, then I have no real problem. That really would be benign. That would not be arbitrary government.

But if he just up and seizes Google’s assets, however much that makes us want to clap our tiny hands with joy as far as Google’s comeuppance is concerned, the simple fact is that this would be arbitrary government. Maybe some of the editors that Lincoln arrested were actually bad men. Maybe, but that doesn’t matter. That’s not how you do it.

One thing any investigation of US Presidential powers shows is that the man who occupies the Office has awesome power to do things, and without Congressional approval. It’s a gift in the right hands, but it’s ominous how much damage it could do in the wrong hands.  That thought only makes it more imperative to restore free and fair elections and a functional media

.

Executive order for foreign interference

The White house: The Executive Order on in the event of Foreign Interference in an Election. 13848

Although there has been no evidence of a foreign power altering the outcome or vote tabulation in any United States election, foreign powers have historically sought to exploit America’s free and open political system. In recent years, the proliferation of digital devices and internet-based communications has created significant vulnerabilities and magnified the scope and intensity of the threat of foreign interference, as illustrated in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment. I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with this threat.

My question may seem odd or irrelevant to many but it is connected to the story of the Frankfurt Server raid.

Reports of the Frankfurt raid (if it happened) are few and sketchy. The most credible sources are; Rep Luoie Gohmet, Generals McInerny and Flynn and Sidney Powell. None of them have said anything for the past week. The US Army has denied any raid. So have the SCYTL and Dominion companies.

Several commentators with doubtful credentials have added details or embellishments, including five members of the US special forces killed and one CIA mercenary. CIA director, Gina Haspel, was said to have been at the facility, injured in the fight and taken into custody.

If Gina Haspel appears in public, then the credibility of the story takes a big hit.

The last time that Gina Haspel was seen in public was Nov 11 at about 9am when she left the Capitol building after meeting Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell. A few days ago a CIA spokeswoman said that Gina is “alive and well and here in the office”. I have not seen any reports of her being seen since then.

Doing an image source for Gina Haspel in the last 24 hours produces a boat-load of reports all calling it FALSE. But none of them provide a current photo or video.

So take that with a large chunk of salt.

I thought I was on topic, since Jo mentioned Dominion, Smartmatic and Scytl above. I assumed that was a a reference to the Frankfurt server raid. However perhaps that was not her intention and she did not specifically mention it so I will accept my reprimand.

By the way. Still no public appearance by Gina, so the Frankfurt raid still stands (along with her arrest).

No foreign power interfered with the US election, the system is flawed and archaic.

Spot on el gordo. The US voting system is a shambols and the proof of that is just how easy it has been to float the ‘election fraud’ horsemanure.

SCOTUS just threw out the first case brought to it, without dissent, and the latest Texas case regading the 14th Amendment will likely go the same way. I mean, seriously, where is there a frustration of people’s right to cast their vote by allowing mail in votes? In its very nature it is an enhancement of that right when for whatever reason they cannot safely or practically make it to a booth on election day? Postal and absentee voting is completely normal. A duly appointed executive making an execitive decision to facilitate that is hadly a frustration of the right to vote.

It seems to me this is the latest and more toxic ideological pandemic to sweep through the Republican Party. The first was the Tea Party thing which has now mutated into the Trump Base Party.

PS as for EO 13848, there will have to be some supporting evidence of foreign interference for any valid action to be taken it seems to me. POTUS cant just rule by EO as he sees fit. Putin and Xi probably can. The EO must draw power from some statute or the Constitution directly and clearly otherwise the President is effectively an unrestrained dictator. I think this is a fanciful notion for challenging the election result. But that’s just my opinion. I am sure SCOTUS will sort out the details.

Trump swore an oath of office when he was inaugurated, about defending the Constitution from enemies `both foreign and domestic.’ Go look it up.

If he declares martial law (and America is at war, whether you believe it or not or want to not believe it) he can rule as he likes. He is still President and hence he is the commander of the US military in its entirety. If/When that takes place, Raffensberger and Kemp may face some nasty charges and suddenly become extraordinarily cooperative and loquacious. We’ll see.

What the Left, the Democraps and the RINOs didn’t — and many, like you still don’t — recognize was that this election was one big T-R-A-P. It’s when the swamp creatures stop shooting their mouths off, you will know that they have had a little bird whisper `Tre-eason’ in their ears. Trump is following the expected forms while his Mil Int is mapping the swamp and the swamp creatures keep telling us who they are.

I see you haven’t found or read the sworn testimony of a Mil Int officer — one of the Kraken Brigade you scoff at. He said of the Frankfurt server(s) the Chinese and the Iranians had left their `fingerprints.’

I noted an English scribe — who was/is keeping his head well down — that
military flights to/from Gitmo had risen to an all time high halfway through November. Possible, and possibly they still are and maybe the people you’ve stopped hearing from/about are catching the warmth and sunshine in Gitmo while they’re discussing everything they know with the nice Krakens …

You may have heard some time back in November “ … this has all been war-gamed … “?

When people are accused of Tree-ason, they become ever so less boastful and ever so very talkative and ever so helpful… but then you wouldn’t know that. You do know, don’t you? that there is cadre in the US Congress who are agitating for the return of the death penalty for that so trivial little crime of Tree-ason.

One thing I have observed about the Democraps is that they’re so over confidant, they keep tying their shoelaces together.

This isn’t over yet, not by a long shot, so keep your ears wide open.
          Have a nice day.

It is with trepedation that I dare mention Qanon, but to anyone who has paid attention, Q has been alluding to this D9 avelanche and “nothing can stop what is coming” for two years. In addition, the pardon of Lt. General Mike Flynn is perfectly timed, since Flynn has intimate knowledge of all the systems and devices that have been recording conversations between, say, Soros and Obama, for a long time.

            Sorry Sophocles but

            a) Trump’s oath isn’t worth a cracker given his flip flop form over his term and
            b) he still needs objective evidence of said enemies to declare martial law and not just his declaration that they exist and therefore he can deal with them, unfettered.

Looking at it from a governance point of view – it appears Trump is expecting possibly an exchange of live fire with forces aligned with the deep state and his own special forces.

Its very much a case of “Et Tu Brute?” with many within both the repub and dem camps, who are equally committed to the NWO/Deep State and likely will not let themselves be taken alive…fair enough…dumb idea …but hey.

Basically Trump has to rout a bunch of traitorous deep state/communist/nwo scum from his own administration and throughout the country.

Its likely going to be ugly. Thats reality.

And are we quite sure this will be a useful outcome?

Whether it is or not depends very much on the morality and the intelligence and the character of the installed leader.

For example; Lee Kuan Yu was a benign dictator (except for individual who were a real political threat and got on the wrong side of him) of considerable vision and talent, and Singapore thrived greatly under his leadership.

Tucker Carlson: Why is Eric Swalwell still on House Intel Committee after Chinese spy revelations?

The Communist Party’s ceaseless effort to subvert our leadership class is working more effectively than anyone imagined

On Tuesday, a story broke in Axios, no one’s idea of a right-wing news outlet. But to their great credit, a pair of Axios reporters doggedly spent the last year investigating what turned out to be an amazing story.

A Chinese intelligence agent called Fang Fang — or, as she renamed herself when she came to this country, Christine Fang — became a force within the California Democratic Party. Along the way, she began a relationship with Eric Swalwell, now a member of the House Intelligence Committee and privy to this country’s most closely held secrets.

U.S. intelligence officials believe that Fang had a sexual relationship with Eric Swalwell. When “Tucker Carlson Tonight” asked Swalwell’s office about that Tuesday, his staff replied by saying they couldn’t comment because such information might be “classified.” They did not elaborate or explain what they meant by that.

The process may be archaic but the equipment is not.

SCOTUS must rule on constitutional grounds. Each vote must by treated equally, mail and absentee voting meant they were not. The case has precedence and therefore SCOTUS should rule in favour of Trump.

I still think this is all pantomime and the EO is the only game in town, the court cases are here simply to educate the masses, latest poll shows 47% of people believe the election was rigged, those numbers are steadily climbing.

We are now being educated to Chinese spies etc do you see what direction we are heading?

        Not so
An absentee vote is requested by a registered voter so the identity of person submitting the voting envelope containing the ballots is pre-confirmed.
A postal (mail in) ballot is supposedly confirmed as being cast by a registered voter through identification validation checks on the signature and other details written on to the voting envelope – a validation process that can easily be skipped or only given cursory checking.

Postal votes are far more susceptible to fraud than absentee votes – Moreland council has experienced this in the recent Victorian council elections.

I guess you haven’t seen that election officials in Michigan were sharing their voter rolls with Left-Wing organizations who had workers assigned to get out vote. My guess is mail in votes. What wasn’t shared was shown to be hacked in many other states. I think they even have Obama’s people hacking into the Georgia election system years ago. So Yep…. I’m sure there’s nothing to be seen on mailed out ballots, as that was all on the up and up.

Big Tech is now censoring anything on the internet related to election fraud in the US, and that includes Zuckerberg who granted $300 – $400 million to these Dem Controlled cities to put ballot boxes out everywhere on the street corners to stuff with ballots, or bundles of ballots. I think the rest was to fund get out the vote. That’s creating a rigged election.

Maybe absentee ballots in a normal year can be controlled if election staff are doing their jobs checking signatures, addresses, etc., but not In this election. Poll Watchers in multiple states have testified that the verification process was mostly hidden from review, as was ballot duplication for military and damaged ballots. They were approving most everything they could get away with for Biden, and they got away with a lot.

Trump is the man to help clean up the Washington Swamp, so I truly hope he starts gigging these Globalist Toads soon, because it’s sickening what happened this U.S. National election cycle. Bring on the EO facts!

When the written law has no meaning, there is no law. That’s what the Texas case is about. Violations to written law (actually the state constitutions, which are the basis for state law) were performed and authorized in a partisan manner, opening up the voting system to even more potential fraud than is usually present.

This is on top of government officials releasing numerous domestic terrorists accused of arson and other violent crimes without trial, again for partisan purposes.

If the written law can be bent and twisted as needed to deliver partisan results, what is the point of having law?

And speaking of Chinese spies, can you remember which US Senator who for years had the fun Chinese driver? Spying isn’t a new thing for the Chinese.

SCOTUS threw out the case based on the opinion that the complaint should have occurred when the changes in voting procedure were first announced. However, I’m certain that had the complaint been made at that time, the courts would have said the GOP had ‘no standing’ because there was no evidence of having experienced harm. That is, a Catch 22 situation!

That is imprecise, and as a result not correct. The Pennsylvannia Supreme Court threw out the case on that claim, correct. However, the full situation is more complicated. A complaint could only be lodged when there was standing. And that could happen only once the election too, place, by which point, the clock had run out on making that claim. Had anyone attempted to make that claim to the Pennsylvannia Supreme Court at the time the changes to the voting procedures were first announced, the court would have dismissed the claim because there was no standing for it. It was a lose-lose set up.

I don`t have a problem with absentee voting if done legally but what you and everyone else should be asking is why the extra days being allowed for the ballots to arrive? Wouldn`t anyone voting and planning on their vote counting mail their ballot in plenty of time? It`s not like the election was a surprise for anyone. 100% of voters have known it was coming since they were kids. Also a mail in ballot should be mailed from the county a person lives in to the county a person lives in. How long should that take on a slow week? Three days tops? I would argue anyone waiting until three days before election DAY to mail their ballot probably shouldn`t be voting in the first place. Since there is NO valid reason for allowing extra days for ballots to arrive one can only come to the conclusion that someone, several someones, had some plans that were up to no good. No good argument can be made otherwise.

Agreed. From what we can see, as demonstrated by statistical analysis, there was at least a coordinated operation to dump massive amounts of illicit ballots in urban areas of swing states. This was a low-tech operation. On the other hand, despite lots of rumors, there is nothing tangible regarding voting machines software and remote hacking.

In normal times, there would be a vast FBI investigation leading to the arrest of people behind the illicit ballot dumping.

It seems Trump’s legal attempts will be blocked by the Courts, even the Supreme Court.

        BernardP, nothing tangible like this?

Ware County, Ga has broken the Dominion algorithm:
Using sequestered Dominion Equipment, Ware County ran a equal number of Trump votes and Biden votes through the Tabulator and the Tabulator reported a 26% lead for Biden.

37 Trump votes used in the equal sample run had been “Switched” from Trump to Biden. In actual algorithmic terms this means that a vote for Trump was counted as 87% of a vote and a vote for Biden was counted as 113% of a vote.

Those conducting the test were so shocked that they ran the same ballots again. The same results appeared.ONE PIECE OF THE PUZZLE SOLVED. (It is worth noting that this was one County, and on one Tabulator alone.

Dominion Tabulators could have been configured with different algorithms in different Counties or States.) The point is there is now hard evidence of electronic manipulation of the Election.

The use of illegal and/or fabricated ballots is an additional issue altogether, but this is sufficient evidence to question the validity of the ENTIRE Election in the 28 states that used Dominion software. Source: Debbie Browning Tift Co Republican Party

Tucker Carlson Rips Swalwell a New One for Accusing Trump of Being a Russian Agent; After HIS ‘Indiscretion’ With a Chinese Spy

It gets worse as suggested by Bonchie’s headline: Explosive Report Reveals Chinese Spy Bundled Donations for Russia Truther Rep. Eric Swalwell

As reported by Axios, the Chinese spy, Fang Fang or Christine Fang, who abruptly left the U.S. in 2015, took part in fundraising activities for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, helped place at least one intern in Swalwell’s office, and interacted with him at multiple events over the course of several years.

When the Russia hoax subsided, Carlson said, “Swalwell turned his energies to his first love, defending the government of China from all criticism.

“In 2017, Swalwell expressed outrage that the Trump administration was taking too tough a position with China’s ally, North Korea. Instead, Swalwell demanded, Trump must ‘[t]alk to experts, allies & China.’”

“Do you notice a pattern here?”, he asked. Of course you do, and here’s the amazing thing:”

“At this very moment, Eric Swalwell — who has used his office to promote Beijing’s talking points almost word-for-word; a man who admits to a close personal relationship with an actual Chinese spy who helped him get elected to Congress, raised money for him and put an intern (probably another spy) in his office — continues to serve on the House Intelligence Committee, where he has unrestricted access to classified information.”

“How does that happen?” Tucker asked. Excellent question. How does that happen?

“The Art of the Deal” by Trump meets the “Art of War” by Sun Tzu. This is like the clash of the Titans. Trump is not giving up by any stretch of the imagination. Although just wishful thinking, it would be nice if Trump spoke to China and combined forces in the name of world peace to work together and destroy the real enemy from within, the left. The left in the West have caused more trouble than any threat from Russia and China combined. If Trump does remain POTUS he better pull out all stops to rid of the cancerous left. The left have spent all their energies over the past few years to destroy the West. It’s time to fight back and destroy the real enemy. Then Trump can focus his attention on building a friendly relationship with China.

When I said Trump ought to focus on being friendly with China after cleaning up the internal issues with the evil left, of course I didn’t mean to say he should kowtow to China. One nation being friendly to another is a two-way street. If China does what North Korea did and gives Trump the cold shoulder then I’m afraid it could mean war. If that’s what China wants then that’s what they will get as a last resort. We as Western nations must remain sovereign at all costs, and if that means war then so be it. I sincerely hope it never gets that far, but it could.

Yes, which is why I’ve pretty much cut down watching Sky News to almost 0. I used to be an avid watcher of Andrew Bolt and Paul Murray. Since about a month ago I’ve stopped watching the former completely and now watch the latter very little. They are simply gas bagging so much of the time with not much of any focus on what’s happening with the US elections. It’s as though orders have come from above to avoid such news to wean people off Trump and onto Biden. It’s sick to see a so called conservative news outlet ignoring Trump as much it can and kowtowing towards a sick Biden that’s on the verge of being mentally retarded and already acting like a puppet with strings coming from people with evil left wing goals and intentions. It will be interesting to see how Sky News will react when Trump is still President after Jan 20. Will it be like the ABC and complete the phase transition of the whole MSM to be against Trump at all times? We shall see but if they do then it spells the end of the West as we know it over the longer term.

This article is conspiracy theory nonsense that will later be an embarrassment for this website if it is not removed.

The exclusive focus on American politics is bizarre and anti-science.

After losing almost every pro-Trump court case, the Supreme Court is unlikely to overturn any state’s results, although they should for PA, even if that does not change the Biden victory. The PA Supreme Court changed election rules it had no power to change.

The Democrats have been working for years to get more absentee ballots sent out, for any reason, simply because they are better at getting them turned in, legally or illegally. And that’s what they did.

The large pro-Biden “vote dumps” in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, sure look like fraud … but that has not convinced any judge to overturn the election results.

The statistical evidence of fraud is only a starting point for an investigation, not persuasive evidence for a judge.

There was simply not enough time to investigate and prove the fraud … and the time is almost up. On December 14, the electors will vote and that’s only five days away.

The mainstream media got away with promoting the Trump Russian Collusion lie for four years, demonized Trump for four years, covered up the Biden Crime Family and pretended there was no election fraud in 2020.

After hearing four years of criticism of Trump, the people involved in the 2020 election fraud probably believe they were doing America a favor by getting rid of Trump.

I did vote for Trump this year.

I was writing articles about the Biden Crime family in summer 2019, long before your website got involved in politics.
I did not give in to the 2020 election fraud on my politics blog, I just reported that it appears to have succeeded on election day 2020.

I have also been writing about the climate change junk science since 2014.
As a public service with no ads and no money for me.
There are no real climate models.
Just computer games that make wrong climate predictions.

I understand that you are upset Trump was cheated out of victory by illegal votes.
        I am too.
And if you want to take it out on me, that’s okay.
I’ve been married for a long time, so I can take it.
But I still think this article is conspiracy theory stuff.
I will be happier if I am wrong.

The topic of this post is not “the blog itself”, its management or previous blog posts, nor is it “Richard Greene”, or what you wrote on another issue on another blog, or your motivation doing that. Nor is it your conjecture on my motives or any emotional state you fantasize that you detect.

In this comment above there is no answer to my question, no evidence for anything, nor an apology for previous timewasting baseless insults. You might think EO 13848 is a “conspiracy theory” but the rest of us read it on the White House site and discuss it.

I said you gave in quickly to their fraud and media demoralization. In reply, you said you “reported” the 2020 election fraud and said it “appears to have succeeded.” I rest my case.

You deny you surrendered to their propaganda, while you repeat their propaganda.

Please add more content, less feelings and stick to the topic.

            Ms. Nova
Thank you for taking my comment out of moderation because I was getting lonely in there. I’m sure you’ll get thumbs up by the score for your reply, as usual … But I talked about the Joe Biden crime family on my politics blog since Summer 2019, long before you got so interested in American politics. And I mentioned the Trump Executive Order weeks before you did. It applies to FOREIGN interference in US elections and so far Trump and supporters have failed to prove DOMESTIC interference in the US election. The Supreme Court case is also weak — a long shot.

Reporting that 2020 election fraud seems to have succeeded does not mean I have “surrendered to their propaganda”. I consider that an insult. It is merely my judgement that the justified attempt to reverse the apparent election fraud has been failing with judges all around the nation.

Since you feel my comments are too long and off topic, I won’t bother commenting here anymore, I came here because it was a climate science blog. I recommended this website to dozens of people. Several have asked what happened here — it’s morphed into a US politics website, with almost no science content.
My answer is: I don’t know.

(It is a temporary situation about something that effects the world, please stay with us, this is clearly an Australian science based blog and always will be, and I like it that wayy) CTS

The battle isn’t finished. We are in a Psy Ops war with people whose main tools now are bluster, bullying and censorship to demoralize their opponents, and your contribution is to repeatedly proclaim they are winning (that’s the bluster) and use baseless insults (just a “conspiracy theory nonsense”).

What’s the definition of surrender? How about when someone effectively says: There has been election fraud, but there is nothing we can do about it.” Paid trolls would say the same things in an attempt to demoralize and insult the people still fighting. I’m not suggesting you are paid. Sincere people would say the same if they were seeking endorsement to help them feel better about their choice to give up.

Not everyone is cut out for the battle. That’s OK. But if you seek therapy, this is not the blog.

Discussions about the direction of this blog are irrelevant to the US Constitutional crisis, and I repeatedly ask you to write those opinions on Unthreaded threads.

Peter, you stated…’It would be nice if Trump spoke to China and combined forces in the name of world peace to work together and destroy the real enemy from within, the left.”

The left has been working very closely with China and vice versa.
Donald Trump was brilliantly, through bi-lateral and tri-lateral trade deals, and tit for tat tarriffs, forcing mercantilist China to play fair. President Trump was winning the trade war despite democratic resistance, and many billions of dollars of business was going away from China, weather they liked it or not. Their resistance was just accelerating Trump’s deals with Mexico, ( Canada draged along like a petulant child) and several Asian nations including a steadily deepening relationship with India.

( Sorry Canada, but I refer to your leader)

Whatever one’s opinion is on the origins of Cov19, it is being used politically to take down the soverighn U.S. and institute far greater government control; local, national, and global.

China’s resistance to a level playing field was of immense benefit to the rest of the world that cooperated with Trumpian economics. After Cov19, ( stopping internal flights but not international) going back for nice with China may not be possible, as their behaviour precludes them being trustworthy business partners. Just ask Australia. However, having observed President Trump, I suspect, like a good bouncer, he will offer China a graceful way to exit the bar.

            Just my view.

Maybe some of the editors that Lincoln arrested were actually bad men. Maybe, but that doesn’t matter. That’s not how you do it.

But that IS how Lincoln did it … and it worked.

Not only did it work at the time, but Lincoln is still a hero today, and more than that if you grab some random kid in school, or if you ask the teacher giving class on Lincoln … neither of them neither of them even know the first thing about Lincoln’s war against the journalists.

Remember this one thing very carefully.

Dilbert creator, Scott Adams, has an interesting perspective on the election:

What amazing and horrible times we are living through. An historic revolution in the making. Let’s hope the historians are spot-on truth tellers.

Never thought politics and especially American politics would turn me into an addict craving daily for a seat on the roller coaster.

President Trump’s disruption has educated us big time. We have learnt things that we never ever dreamt existed. It is obvious now that Western Society is being eaten away. Truth doesn’t get a look in. Lying is an art form. Biological gender isn’t gender. The dumbing down of the young is unforgivable and shows how close and powerful the forces against us are.

The traitorous Democrats and RINOs are in bed with China. China is playing them for suckers. The only person capable enough to fight against all these forces and change the world for the better is President Trump. Rightfully, he will serve his second term.

Everything here is news to me. Even Breitbart is carrying none of it. Of course election fraud has been the expectation. The Democrats have been claiming that for four long years. They even impeached the President they never accepted on the basis of alleged Russian interference in the last election, without any evidence at all. So it would not be surprising or unexpected if they were involved in direct interference in the current election. Their story would be that it is justified because Trump stole the last election.

The weak point of 21st century elections in the US is the use of computers, presumably to tally votes. And High Tech and China and the UN and EU and every communist dictator and billionaire socialist in the world are all solidly behind Joe Biden and friends. So Donald Trump expected it. In hindsight, everyone should have expected it. Now the perpetrators are hoping to get to the finish line without being investigated. And their great fear is the refusal of the Supreme Court to validate the election.

Really, if hand counting was good enough for last 200 years, it may have to revert. In a modern world, if you set out to corrupt the US elections, why bother stuffing ballot boxes? After all where are the scrutineers on the software? Even then locking out scrutineers, suitcases of votes, predating, postdating, these are such old techniques. The real weakness is in the software.

Computer tallying is a system open to the fraud without checks and by a vast number of potential players, domestic and foreign. And all of the senior Democrats have a lot to hide, from Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and even Barack Obama down. They desperately need to win. The Democrat governors seemed anxious to put the new machines in place for the election. Why?

I think most people would be surprised if there was not widespread fraud, but what happened on the actual election night was just incredible. Donald Trump was angry when counting stopped openly predicted a lot of votes would suddenly appear for Joe Biden when the counting resumed. He knew all about it, but the plan was already in motion. It was unstoppable even when it was obvious that Trump knew.

And the Press are saying nothing. Even Breibart. It is possible there has been a giant counter intelligence operation in place for years in anticipation of exactly what has happened. And a lot of the senior CIA and FBI and DOJ people have been kept out of the loop.

The tell tale signs are there. The fear that Trump would not leave. The desperate attacks on new Supreme Court Judges. The threats of military intervention to remove Trump. The widespread press demands that Trump concede. There is so much going on and yet it seems there is even more under the surface. Donald is no lame duck but paddling furiously under the surface.

    This is very interesting.
Forensic I.T. probe of Dominion/Edison server connectivity by 305th Military Intelligence, 20 Nov 2020:

    https://www.scribd.com/document/485933370/gov-uscourts-mied-350905-1-15

“21.In my professional opinion, this affidavit presents unambiguous evidence that Dominion Voter Systems and Edison Research have been accessible and were certainly compromised by rogue actors, such as Iran and China.

By using servers and employees connected with rogue actors and hostile foreign influences combined with numerous easily discoverable leaked credentials, these organizations neglectfully allowed foreign adversaries to access data and intentionally provided access to their infrastructure in order to monitor and manipulate elections, including the most recent one in 2020.

This represents a complete failure of their duty to provide basic cyber security. This is not a technological issue, but rather a governance and basic security issue: if it is not corrected, future elections in the United States and beyond will not be secure and citizens will not have confidence in the results. I declare under penalty of perjury that the forgoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Executed this November 23rd, 2020.”

Not all foreign interference is equal. Scientific American (SA) magazine regularly has articles with political implications, particularly with respect to so-called climate change. SA is owned by a German corporation.

The Yahoo News/US website frequently has Op-Ed pieces, masquerading as news, from various liberal British ‘news’ sources, that outnumber the US liberal news sources. Yet, nobody seems to consider that to be foreign interference. Apparently it is only considered to be “interference” if it happens on FaceBook.

So the BLM riot thing in the USA, I’m guessing that has almost died a death now they think Trump is out? Certainly the BBC has stopped fervently reporting every demo/riot. Google ‘interest’ statistics show ‘BLM’ is very nearly back down to the levels before Floyd.

This strongly suggests it was an orchestrated violent political insurgency disguised as anti-racism, and designed to undermine Trump; who would’ve thought it!

Hi, MrGM. When it comes to riots, it’s interesting that with Trump seemingly on the way out his supporters didn’t take to the streets and lay waste to their own neighbourhoods, yet, you can bet, that if Trump comes out of this with the election overturned it’ll be Democrat districts where the riots by their own will be the worst.

Nope – spot on. Yes they seemingly act fascist, but the present incarnation, including flag, comes directly from the communist anti-fascists of 1930s Germany. Both were totalitarian so they could not co-exist.

Hence the Nazi (fascist) – Soviet (communist/anti-fascist) war.

The riots may not have been orchestrated, at least to begin with. There is evidence that it was later on (stacks of bricks & bussing people in from interstate).

It was an opportunity for the Mayors and governors to support the violence and some even participated in them (and their children). They released tens of thousands of prisoners, and refused to charges people with crimes even after completely destroying city blocks. Not to mention the shootings, which are still going on particularly in Chicago.

If things go according to Trump’s plan and he remains POTUS, the job of cleaning up the mess created by the evil left must be a combined effort by all Western nations. Personally I doubt that will happen but let’s wait and see. If it doesn’t happen then I’m afraid Trump would just win the battle but the West will lose the war once Trump’s second term is over, if not sooner. It really is sad to see the whole MSM hating Trump. It saddens me even more that most people I know hate Trump with a vengeance. Our societies are sick to the core and it’s getting worse. Here we have a great leader Trump fighting on his own to save the West and the rest are fighting him. Go figure.

In reply to: That’s what happens to civilizations that grow old and tired. They turn the corner and die.

That sounds so sad. Or rather than grow old and tired… Civilization, like ours, use some ‘Yankee ingenuity’ and suddenly the world is changed. Three more states have joined Texas’s supreme court case. More states will join. The supreme court will rule in favor of the plaintiffs.

The CIA Frankfurt server has Dem emails and other info (the dems paid for secure file space on the Frankfurt server just like they were buying space from a company. There are records of payments for the CIA Frankfurt server space, records of payment of election fixing services on the same server) that unequivocally convicts them of 2020 election cheating. Although The US Milt will not charge any Dems and the DOJ is not going to rush to do anything; the US Milt/US DOJ will not allow any Dem who has emails on the frankfurt server discussing their campaign’s need and request to fix the 2020 US election to serve in office. That is not going to happen. Special personal will meet with those affected to discuss the evidence, just before the plan is made public.

        The Democratic party is finished.

Now what to do now? The public will not support a Rep only government. The Dems have promised to the make the US ungovernable. How to make this as smooth as possible. This what I heard is to come.

The US Milt are going to replace the US federal government with a nonpolitical team, that will be based in Arizona at a military base. This site was chosen over Washington, as many of those chosen live in the area. And that removes the risk of protests and third-party secret lobbying.

There will be no more ‘special’ interests. All US ‘interests’ are included in the new gov’s analysis that is used to justify actions. The new gov has a list of easy things that can be done if there is no more politics to give people confidence.

The team is all milt, officiers, smart young officers who know how to work, not generals. The members are from different states, but not all states. The team is young, most under 40 year old, and many are black. All chosen have proven skills, that make them effective in teams, friendly, smart, and were selected to provide the different skills, like health care, engineering, law, international commerce, and so on, which will be required to help the new team, make good decision. The new non-political will replace the politically selected US federal government, while the Milt charges those in the CIA and works with the DOJ to resolve issues in the FBI.

Also this will allow the Dems to solve their problems and rebrand. The plan estimate six years will be required.

Trump will remain as US head of state, in the WH. He will be called president but his role will be different.

Trump will now have a milt aid who is going to help Trump adapt to his new role. Trump will stop talking political (almost from day one) and will become a statesman who likes to be part of a smart, effective, team (his new aid will help make that happen). A few months into the job when the team has the US confidence, the money issue will gradually be dealt with.

    2 questions..
If the “End Game”. Is to force a “Contingent Election”,.. how is that likely to turn out ?
The President is elected by a vote in the House of Reps,..which is a majority of Dems ?
Only the Vice President is elected by the Senate..where the Republicans are a majority .

Also, what happens to these EO’s when/if the presidency changes on Jan 20. ?
Do they roll over to the incumbent President, or are they dissolved ?
Would Biden suddenly inherit these extensive powers suggested above ?

      @ Chad:

A Contingent Election occurs after 6 Jan 2021 if no candidate receives > 270 electoral votes.
Under the 12th Amendment, it devolves to the House of Representatives where each state gets 1 vote.
The new majority vote becomes 26 or more votes.
Republicans hold delegation majorities in 26 states. Dems hold 24.

E.O’s remain in effect until revoked by a sitting President.
If Biden is elected, he inherits the EO and the responsibilities that go with it.

The scary part: Per Section 3 of the 20th Amendment, if the representatives are not able to decide a president before January 20, the vice president-elect will become the interim president until the House can make a decision.

ie, Kamala Harris might wind up being interim President, which in my mind would be horrific, but it is possible. On the other hand, VP Pence might as well become interim President.

What Happens If Neither Trump nor Biden Wins the Electoral College?

What’s most important to note is that in a contingent election, the House doesn’t cast its votes in the same way that it would decide on legislation. Instead, each state delegation must cast its vote en bloc, with each state receiving just a single vote, allotted to the candidate who receives majority support in the delegation. In order to be elected, then, a candidate must receive an absolute majority of state-delegation votes, which, given the 50 U.S. states, means he must receive the votes of 26 state delegations. (Despite having a delegate and three votes in the Electoral College, the District of Columbia does not get a vote.)

This is where things get really interesting: Although the Democratic Party currently holds a majority in the House, with 232 representatives to the Republican Party’s 198, the Republicans hold a majority of state delegations. In the current makeup of the House, there is a Republican majority in the delegations from 27 states. Of course, the composition of those delegations is subject to change in the coming election, and the newly elected House would be the one to settle the presidential election in the event of a tie.

        Four states 62

        306 – 62 = 244

        Biden 244
        Trump 232

Neither reach absolute majority of 270 out of 538.

        The article states this:

“In the event that neither President Donald Trump nor Joe Biden wins an absolute majority of votes in the Electoral College this November, the race will be handled with a constitutional procedure called a contingent election, which will send the contest to the House of Representatives for a final decision.”

OK so now to Electoral College FAQs:

What happens if no presidential candidate gets 270 electoral votes?

The House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most electoral votes. Each State delegation has one vote and it is up to the individual States to determine how to vote. (Since the District of Columbia is not a State, it has no State delegation in the House and cannot vote). A candidate must receive at least 26 votes (a majority of the States) to be elected.

So that’s settled (assuming SC comes to the party). What I did find interesting is this:

What happens if a candidate dies or becomes incapacitated?

There is no Federally-required process to follow if a candidate who is projected to receive electoral votes dies or becomes incapacitated between the general election and the meeting of electors. However, individual States may have their own requirements that govern how electors must vote at the meeting of the electors. In 1872, when Horace Greeley passed away between Election Day and the meeting of electors, the electors who were slated to vote for Greeley voted for various candidates, including Greeley. The votes cast for Greeley were not counted due to a House resolution passed regarding the matter. See the full Electoral College vote counts for President and Vice President in the 1872 election.

We don’t know what would happen if a candidate who, after dies or becomes incapacitated between the meeting of electors and the counting of electoral votes in Congress.

The Constitution is silent on whether this candidate meets the definition of “President elect” or “Vice President elect.” If the candidate with a majority of the electoral votes is considered “President elect,” even before the counting of electoral votes in Congress, Section 3 of the 20th Amendment applies. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment states that the Vice President elect will become President if the President elect dies or becomes incapacitated.

If a winning Presidential candidate dies or becomes incapacitated between the counting of electoral votes in the Congress and the inauguration, the Vice President elect will become President, according to Section 3 of the 20th Amendment.

Not out of the question – it is 2020 afterall.

    ***BREAKING NEWS***

YouTube has now announced it will be deleting all content that suggests that there was fraud in the 2020 US election.

This represents a massive amount of material and is an obscene assault on the US democratic process and transparency in elections.

I never cease to be amazed how the Left are unable to tolerate alternate opinions or the truth. They are just ideas…

Get used to the Orwellian nightmare if the Left get into power in the US, they are already heavily embedded in most other Western countries.

‘Chilling and Authoritarian’: YouTube Announces How It Plans to Handle Videos Critical of 2020 Election

YouTube announced plans on Wednesday to censor content that challenges 2020’s election results, saying the company will continue to strive to connect people “with authoritative information.”

“Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President-elect,” the tech giant said in a blog post. “Given that, we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections. For example, we will remove videos claiming that a Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors. We will begin enforcing this policy today, and will ramp up in the weeks to come. As always, news coverage and commentary on these issues can remain on our site if there’s sufficient education, documentary, scientific or artistic context.”

The company further explained that in addition to “limiting the reach of borderline content” they also “prominently [surfaced] authoritative information.”

Many on Twitter reacted to the “chilling and authoritarian” update.

HUGE: After 4 Years of Stonewalling Corrupt FBI Finally Admits They’re Holding Seth Rich’s Laptop

According to an email posted at Lawflog.com and sent to attorney Ty Clevenger, the attorney for the FBI now admits that the:

FBI has completed the initial search identifying approximately 50 cross-reference serials, with attachments totaling over 20,000 pages, in which Seth Rich is mentioned. FBI has also located leads that indicate additional potential records that require further searching. . . . FBI is also currently working on getting the files from Seth Rich’s personal laptop into a format to be reviewed. As you can imagine, there are thousands of files of many types. The goal right now is to describe, generally, the types of files/personal information contained in this computer.

After more than four years of repeated denials from the FBI that they had searched their files and had no information on Seth Rich, we now know that was a blatant lie. It was David Hardy, a FBI Senior official, who put that denial in writing in September 2017. Hardy was the Section Chief of the Record/Information Dissemination Section (“RIDS”), Information Management Division (“IMD”),1 Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), in Winchester, Virginia. He stated under oath that the FBI had no records on Seth Rich:

For the FBI to come out with this now, shows there is a lot going on behind the scenes and something BIG is going to happen. Maybe the big thing is the subject of Jo’s article. Is it as simple as Wray trying to save his own “rear end”? If so, far too little and far too late –Wray will be gone for good when Trump wins.

So the FBI has sat on 3 laptops now –Rich, Wiener and Biden’s.

“The 17 STATES listed as backing Texas’ lawsuit against WI, MI, PA & GA in the SUPREME COURT:

MO, AL, AR, FL, NE, ND, OK, IN, KS, LA, MS, MT, SC, SD, TN, UT & WV.”

and Arizona is in there. They have an action heading to their Supreme Court and the only rejection so far has been that the complainant should have objected before the election.

That’s the nature of crime. You sometimes have to let it happen. Otherwise we have ‘pre Crime’ and it’s harder to convict on intentions.

        100

        • #
          TdeF

And the Texas lawsuit is a very different animal. Usually an Appellate court of last appeal in major cases, it is also and essentially the court which oversees any constitutional disputes between the states

“There is an exception to that rule. The Supreme Court has original jurisdiction over legal disputes between states – i.e. the American equivalent of New South Wales suing Victoria. These cases start at the Supreme Court level.”

So I suspect this is extremely unusual and will be seen as high priority for the Supreme Court, especially now that 18 states are supporting the suit. I would discount any expert who saw this as dumb. And as commented before, this election threatens the very existence of the Supreme Court with the refusal by Biden to deny an intent to stack the court and so render it impotent, doing the bidding of the Democrats only. The most senior judges for life on the Supreme Court would likely see this as an assault on the US Constitution, something they and the President are sworn to protect.

            The USA is an ally.
            We are NOT American.
Unfortunately their national political system seems to be on the verge of collapse
Despite 80 million USA voters voting for a change of president
            And demanding Trump go.
            That’s DEMOCRACY folks
To which I have been a committed follower all my life.
But it’s now apparent that many here are not
And suppprt any and all attempts to undermine the democratic process in the USA
In order to ensure that Trump continues in office
And continues his misguided pandemic strategy which has killed 270,000 Americans.
And yes Jo, sadly I am looking at you.

[The whole point, Bill, Is that it ISN’T DEMOCRACY if the election was not conducted with integrity. Was it 80 million? YOU CAN’T say. What I can’t figure out is why this bothers you so much? Damn you’ve spent hours defaming the host and why? Can’t you accept a few weeks maybe even months for this to be sorted out? “We all agree on one person, one vote.”

No, we don’t. Not for Senate or Head of State. Only for the lower house of ‘representatives’ where you get ‘representative’ democracy.

The US is a Federation of States. Smaller States get a very disproportionate say in the Senate and Head of State. It’s the only way it works. That was the deal. Suggest a better one. State populations change over time but at a Federal level for the Senate or President it is not one man, one vote.

One man, one vote is completely unfair in a Federation. They band together for the good reason that they are stronger together and customs and taxes between states is injurious. It is also far better for mutual defence and the President is always chief of the Armed Forces. His focus is outward, not inward. Individual states do not have an army, navy, airforce or soldiers. The Union won the war over the Confederation. They are the United States.

Exactly as in Australia, the Senate oversees all legislation on behalf of the individual states. So tiny Tasmania gets as many senators as NSW with 1/16th of the population. SA with 1/8th of the population. That is why the Greens concentrate on the smaller states, states with as much as half the population in the public service, subsidized by the bigger states.

And the Australian House of Representatives is one man, one vote as near as possible. So Tasmania gets 5, South Australia 10 and NSW 47. It’s still uneven but much closer to one man, one vote.

It means you can take huge Democrat dominated, economic basket case California and get five million votes ahead and still lose the Presidency, as last time. What is very puzzling is that the Democrats lost seats everywhere in the lower house but polled far better for the Presidency. That is the concern, that the corruption is in the separate election for the US President. It’s a far easier and more significant election to rig than that in 435 individual seats each with many contenders.

      (1) An election law professor is not a practicing lawyer. The good professor can say whatever he wants as he’s not under any legal ramifications. Now if he was a practicing lawyer, I would give his words more weight.
      (2) It’s a Californian University. The Californians are notoriously Liberal. I can’t be sure if he’s being honest or if he’s playing cover for his favorite political party.

Simon, I’m not sure where you stand on the article you posted a link to, but to call this the “dumbest” just shows the authors of the article don’t know anything about the U.S. constitution.
B.T.W. it is up to 8 states now that are joining the ‘dumbest” lawsuit. If Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin cause harm to the other states by holding and unconstitutional election then the Supreme court becomes the venue to settle the dispute between states.
The framers of the constitution were geniuses. When some states go rogue, the others can sue and stop them. It is really that simple.
I live in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and what the governor, secretary of state, and the Pennsylvania supreme court did was blatantly unconstitutional!

I am as hopeful as everyone here, with a few notable exceptions, that good will prevail and the bad will get their just deserts but if we are now aware of the implications (speculations) of certain EOs, appointments and sackings then surely so do the bad guys. Would they not also be doing what was necessary to save their own skins if they are at risk? One would expect that more would be coming forward to seek immunity by dobbing someone else. The MSM must also be aware of what is happening and if their man were under threat surely they would be crying foul. I am being wary since we have had our hopes dashed repeatedly in the past few weeks.

The examples of the Australian federal election, the 2016 US election and the Brexit story tell me that the Democrats would not have made prior plans for defence. Hubris rules. When their initial plans fell short they were already too far in and threw caution to the wind.

Republicans call for AG Barr to appoint special counsel for 2020 election probe

“Following widespread support from my House Republican colleagues, I am again requesting that you direct Attorney General Barr to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate irregularities in the 2020 election,” Wednesday’s letter began.

“The American people deserve a definitive resolution to the uncertainty hovering over the outcome of our election, but legitimate questions of voter fraud remain unanswered,” it continued.

The letter goes on to bemoan the lack of action by the Justice Department and Barr, who authorized federal prosecutors to investigate allegations of “voting irregularities” in the days after the election was called for President-elect Joe Biden, but said last week that no widespread evidence had been found.

“The Department of Justice has been asked on multiple occasions to launch an investigation into this matter, but inaction from the Department along with public comments made by the Attorney General indicate a lack of willingness to investigate the irregularities your campaign and other elected officials across the nation have alleged,” Gooden stated in the letter, making specific reference to Barr’s comments last week on the probe.

APNewsBreak: Georgia election server wiped after suit filed

    By FRANK BAJAK

    October 27, 2017

A computer server crucial to a lawsuit against Georgia election officials was quietly wiped clean by its custodians just after the suit was filed, The Associated Press has learned.

The server’s data was destroyed July 7 by technicians at the Center for Elections Systems at Kennesaw State University, which runs the state’s election system. The data wipe was revealed in an email sent last week from an assistant state attorney general to plaintiffs in the case that was later obtained by the AP. More emails obtained in a public records request confirmed the wipe.

Elections Undecided by Midnight are Void & Preempted by Federal Law – Foster v Love (1997; 9-0 Decision)

    PREFACE OF THE BATTLE PLAN

We will take a closer at this binding precedent below, but in preview, please understand that it emanates from a 9-0 decision of the United States Supreme Court, wherein the entire Court joined, not just the outcome, but also the opinion on this very point.

The voters vote. The officials count. These combined actions form “the election,” and the election must be decided on the day. States that failed to make a final selection of officeholder by midnight after Election Day have violated the statute, subjecting the nation at large to the very evils Congressionally mandated deadlines were drafted to prevent.

Federal Election Day statutes were designed to curtail fraud, and to infuse a prima facie sense of integrity in our electoral process. But these States – in failing to obey Congressional deadlines – have flagrantly attempted to preempt federal law. This is certainly prohibited, and this is why the late election results are void.

    WHAT ABOUT BUSH V. GORE?

At this point, you may be wondering, if my analysis above is correct, why the election in Bush v. Gore wasn’t void? It’s a very good question. That nightmare dragged on for 37 days, finally settled by a nebulous opinion, just as the Florida Legislature was getting ready to use the nuclear option to seat Bush electors via bicameral resolution. Incredibly, the answer to this very relevant question is shockingly simple:

That election wasn’t void because nobody asked the court to void it.

Re the Texas case, several of my favorite legal maxims come to mind:
    1. Litigation is a crapshoot. Anyone who claims to know how this will turn out is wrong, even if their guess turns out to be right.
    2. Never rule on substance when you can rule on procedure. This case is entirely about procedure. If SCOTUS rules for Texas it makes all the looming fraud cases moot. That may be a powerful incentive.
    3. Litigation is a crapshoot.

“Dominion Voting Systems, Smartmatic and Scytl are all companies with foreign ties that were used in these elections, and there are reports that other companies from Germany and Serbia were also involved. ”

What is the point of physical voting, in booths or by mail, if the votes are tallied overseas. In Germany and Serbia among other places. While the Democrats postured on overseas influence, what greater opportunity for hacking is there than being dependent on computers in Germany the former Communist block Yugoslavia. Serbia is a very close slavic ally of Russia, the alleged villain in the last election. Does no one remember the war in Kosovo in 1998/99 when it was the US/EU against Russian backed Serbia? Now they are handling US voting?

This is playing right into Trump’s hands. His whole existence and power base is in international affairs and the impeachment was about foreign influence in the US elections. Who decided it was cost effective to have votes tallied in an Eastern Block country? Berlin or Belgrade?

Globalists would argue it is cheaper to get your votes counted in North Korea or Vietnam or Serbia? Seriously, Serbia?

What genius in foreign intervention decided to send all those physical ballots overseas? Isn’t the threat of the US post office and domestic computer hacking enough? Did they really need PCs in Serbia?

Really, was it so much cheaper to use overseas PCs to tally votes? Surely in a world of internet hackers this would require an answer. But when the former Secretary of State kept her most secure documents in an open server in her garage or in plain English on Yahoo, it is consistent.

In 1945 it would be inconceivable to send US votes to Germany and Russia to be counted. It’s almost beyond belief even today.
So why not move the Pentagon to Beijing? It must be cheaper.

Wall Street Loves When Communist China Tells Sweet Billion-Dollar Lies

No matter how much Wall Street firms kowtow to the Chinese Communist Party, they will never gain the kind of market access they desire.

Nowadays, one of the few issues that can unite Republicans and Democrats in Congress is the effort to hold Communist China accountable. In early December, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed legislation that would ban trading shares of Chinese companies whose audit papers aren’t inspected by U.S. regulators for three consecutive years. The same legislation was approved with bipartisan support in the U.S. Senate in May and President Trump is likely to sign it into law in the coming days.

This effort is long overdue. Chinese companies have enjoyed open access to U.S. capital markets for years and collectively raised billions of dollars from international and American investors

Wall Street is not happy with the bill. They are concerned that rather than complying with U.S. requirements, the Chinese government will persuade Chinese firms to take their listings to Hong Kong or Shanghai stock exchanges. This may mean Wall Street gets fewer lucrative underwriting deals for Chinese companies in the future.

More importantly, Beijing may retaliate by shutting Wall Street out of the biggest prize they have been seeking for years: access to the financial market in China. Yet Beijing has promised to open up China’s financial sector to foreign financial firms since the 1990s, and has never done so.

Still, driven by the hope to eventually gain a significant share of the China market, Wall Street remains the loudest cheerleader of China in the United States. Indeed, during U.S.-China trade negotiations, Beijing has often relied on leaders of Wall Street — such as Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone Group and Hank Paulson of Goldman Sachs — as “go-betweens” with the Trump administration.

Wall Street Regret May Come Too Late

For Wall Street, it appears that as long as they get to make money, it doesn’t matter too deeply if the world is run by an authoritarian regime. They should care, however, because ultimately, their own future is at stake.

Recently, the CCP’s party Secretary Xi Jinping personally decided to suspend the $40 billion Hong Kong and Shanghai dual listing of Ant Financial, an affiliate of China’s Internet giant Alibaba.

In essence, the CCP used the suspension to fire a warning shot: it will never allow any private corporation, domestic or foreign, to dominate a sector, especially the financial sector, in China. No matter how much Wall Street firms kowtow to the CCP, they will never gain the kind of market access they desire. Instead, someday, they may be crushed by the authoritarian regime they have so enthusiastically and foolishly enriched.

Texas is not suggesting the remedy.

Consider “The contested 1876 presidential election between Republican Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio and Democrat Samuel J. Tilden of New York was the last to require congressional intervention.

Tilden won the popular vote and the electoral count.

But Republicans challenged the results in three Southern states, which submitted certificates of election for both candidates.

While the Constitution requires the House and Senate to formally count the certificates of election in joint session, it is silent on what Congress should do to resolve disputes. In January 1877, Congress established the Federal Electoral Commission to investigate the disputed Electoral College ballots. The bipartisan commission, which included Representatives, Senators, and Supreme Court Justices, voted along party lines to award all the contested ballots to Hayes—securing the presidency for him by a single electoral vote.”

And if three or four states votes are in dispute and not counted, a contingent election would result.

“Each state, regardless of population, casts a single vote for President.”

That would put the 40 million voters of California on the same basis as the 1 million of Rhode Island. So the question would be how many States would vote Republican and how many Democrat.

Possibly the Texas action now supported by a total of 18 states or over a third of all states only has to establish that the votes are in dispute. This is quite different to the solution in 1877, just after the Civil War.

That EO only applies to persons acting on behalf of foreign governments. So there may be all manner of interference from abroad, but unless it was from people acting on behalf of a foreign government, then the EO doesn’t apply.

    Or am I missing something?

I would love your scenario of Trump waiting to spring the trap, but is this just a fantasy? Has Trump lulled the MSM and Dems into a false sense of entitlement and security? Was that silly “water marked” ballot papers ruse just a diversion? Is the German raid just a product of the rumour mill, like I think it is?

I guess we will find out, but all the way along here, whilst there has been some progress with the lawsuits, things appear to favour Biden, much as I hate to say it.

Well in that same Executive Order a report is mandated 45 days after the election is held.
    December 18th fast approaches.
If President Trump had the intelligence to plan the destruction of our progressive comrades, who infest far too much of our civic institutions..
Then the mandated report on the conduct of the Nov 3rd election would be the logical trigger.

For the “Resistance” insisted that President Trump was illegitimate,”Not their president”.
And boasted long and loud about how they will destroy Donald J Trump, his children and his supporters..by any means possible.
Then they showed the citizens that there was no “LOW” too low in their smear and slander campaign of the last 5 years.

Now a sensible man would believe the “Left” when they promise evil, for we have real world examples, such as the charming Lois Little and the likes of Judge Sullivan.
So defeating them as done in 2016 is not enough, they never surrender and never operate in good faith.

Hence the 2018 EO,carefully designed to destroy the Democrats should they cheat as expected.

Currently we are being treated to some street theatre as the forces backing Trump, set the stage for mass arrests and confiscation of ill gotten wealth..

Imagine the public relations coup of destroying the enemies within and balancing the federal books with their money.

That would be theatre worthy of a master showman.
