Trump to UN: ‘Climate change is the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world’

By Jo Nova

Trump just went full Climate Blasphemy at the UN, saying the things we wish someone had said for the last twenty years. It’s a scam, a hoax, and a fraud, he said, and the schmucks at the United Nations have to listen to every word.

In 1982, the executive director of the U.N. environmental program predicted that by the year 2000, climate change would cause a global catastrophe “irreversible as any nuclear holocaust”… these predictions were WRONG. They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes.

Trump warned world leaders that if you don’t get away from this green energy scam (and mass immigration) your countries are going to fail.

From 39:00 minutes in he mocks the UN predictions from 1982.

“Your countries are going to hell”.

Despite him being the highest ranking speaker of the day, the UN escalator stopped working and then the teleprompter didn’t work, making it just that much harder for him to connect with the cameras and the audience for the newsworthy grabs, or making it more likely he would misspeak. What are the odds?

When we were in Bali at the UN all those years ago, there were a string of odd accidents that always worked in the UN’s favour. They’d finally relent, and offer us a big venue after days of saying there were none, then they forgot to put a notice on the public ticker-timetable. Petty. Petty. Petty.

“It’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world in my opinion.”

Another UN official stated in 1989 that within a decade entire nations could be wiped off the map by global warming. Not happening. You know, it used to be global cooling. If you look back years ago in the 1920s and the 1930s, they said global cooling will kill the world. We have to do something. Then they said global warming will kill the world. But then it started getting cooler. So now they could just call it climate change because that way they can’t miss. It’s climate change because if it goes higher or lower, whatever the hell happens, there’s climate change.

“Predictions made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes…”

Climate change, no matter what happens, you’re involved in that. No more global warming, no more global cooling. All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes and given those same countries no chance for success. If you don’t get away from this green scam, your country is going to fail.

They must take control strongly and immediately of the unmititigated immigration disaster and the fake energy catastrophe before it’s too late.

“… by people with evil intentions…(he names Obama)”

The carbon footprint is a hoax made up by people with evil intentions and they’re heading down a path of total destruction. You know, the carbon footprint, it was a big big thing a few years ago. I remember hearing about the carbon footprint and then President Obama would get into Air Force One, a massive Boeing 747, and not a new one, an old one with old engines that spew everything into the atmosphere. He’d talk about the carbon footprint. We must do something. Then he’d get in and he’d fly from Washington to Hawaii to play a round of golf. And then he’d get back onto that big beautiful plane and he’d fly back and he talk about again global warming and the carbon footprint. It’s a con job.

Europe cut emissions 37%, and for what…”

At extreme cost and expense, Europe reduced its own carbon footprint by 37%. Think of that. Congratulations, Europe. Great job. You cost yourself a lot of jobs, a lot of factories closed, but you reduce the carbon footprint by 37%. However, for all of that sacrifice and much more, it’s been totally wiped out and then some by a global increase of 54%. much of it coming from China and other countries that are thriving around China  which now produces more CO2 than all the other developed nations in the world. So all of these countries are working so hard on the carbon footprint which is nonsense by the way. It’s nonsense.

      Utter nonsense.

But at least you confirm that the people pushing Climate Change/Global Warming, extermination of the Jews and the war in Ukraine for the last 20 years are the same people.

And that is the UN itself, an unelected rabble of 80,000 people who do nothing for world peace and demand hundreds of billions for their invention in 1988 of CO2 driven Global Warming. Their latest invention is a demand for another $42Billion in cash for a bunker oil tax on world shipping, to add to their $100Bn climate fund. And 500 resolutions against Israel, having created the country in the first place in 1948.

Trump is ‘authorized’ by his own conscience and his extreme lack of F’s to give. He’s a lame duck president with no future political ambitions. Political repercussions don’t scare him. Neither do ‘optics’ and media repercussions, since the media already hates his guts and smears him no matter what he does. He could rescue puppies and kittens from a burning building and the Democrats and their presstitute minions would accuse him discriminating against hampsters.

He’s no lame duck. The most active and principled President in a lifetime since WWII. He is also limited to two terms, but his succession is clear. He has assembled an amazing team and they are getting results.

In walking into the lion’s den at the UN, he is daring to say what needs to be said in the place where Climate Change starts in 1988 and by definition a huge Globalist organization and self appointed World Government which hates Jews and capitalism and Sovereign states. That fact that the UN is utterly non democratic is in its genetics. It is also the organization which helped spread the Wuhan Virus and covered it up.

I don’t see how Trump is a lame duck in any sense of the word including ending his term in 2028 because his legacy will continue in the form of JD; and after JD’s 8 years one of Trump’s sons, in effect continuing Trump’s term well beyond 2028. Although I will feel better when a few of the corrupt demorats like Letitia James get put into orange overalls. And Ilhan Omar deported for marrying her brother.

As for Trump’s completely realistic view of global boiling: the meeting between him and albo, who gave his pathetic by comparison UN speech will be interesting since albo’s views and policies on global boiling are antithetical to Trump’s.

The recent DOE report by Judith Curry, Koonin, McKitrick, Spencer and Christy shows that Trump means business. By comparison the report by blackout is bureaucratic rubbish.

    What are the odds?

About 100 to 1 in favor of sabotage.

It wasn’t just the teleprompter. When Trump arrived and tried to get on an escalator to enter the building, it shut down as soon as his foot hit the bottom step, forcing him an Melania to walk up. Then the teleprompter shut down as soon as he stepped to the podium. It started working again just as he wrapped up his speech. What the odds of both of those mechanisms breaking down the second Trump tried to use them, then miraculously working again once Trump was no longer using them?

    https://x.com/Geiger_Capital/status/1970493994317631530

Leftist UN employees were obviously ‘fighting fascism’ by making things more difficult for the Bad Orange Man. Fortunately for them, they won’t be shipped off to a gulag or tossed in a dark room in the basement of the Lubyanka, proving that Trump is NOT in fact a fascist. The worst penalty they’ll face is losing their jobs.

On a related note, this is yet another Secret Service screw up, on par with them not catching the protestors who infiltrated his dinner out on town with his cabinet. How did they not vet the idiots running the escalator or the teleprompter? Fortunately, both failures only resulted in childish pranks rather than real consequences, but things could have been much much worse.

Shades of Winston Churchill’s speaking tour of Canada after WW 2.

At one venue, just as he was starting his address, the pa failed.

Churchill scowled at the mike, hurled it into the wings, turned up full voice volume and started with

“Ladies and gentlemen, having exhausted the resources of science we will now fall back on nature”

        and proceeded with his address.

It’s wonderful watching TRUMP support his country and advocate for Western Civilisation more generally.

It’s tragic watching the Stupid Countries of the world, namely Australia, Canada and Western Europe destroy their energy supplies and thus their economies, all in the name of a scam that only benefits the billionaire subsidy harvesters and those who wish to destroy Western Civilisation.

Among those countries, Australia is a particularly fanatical adherent. Now that we’re a One Party State with no effective opposition party, the Labor Party can do as it pleases.

[Snip. Let’s not turn the topic to the middle east. – Raquel]

the Left are fundamentally against Judeo-Christian religious values which are or were the basis of Western moral values and these ultimately came from Israel via the Torah and later Christian teachings.

The UN clown show was also meeting about [snip – recognising Palestine] at the same time as TRUMP was declaring anthropogenic global warming as the scam that it is.

It’s all connected as part of a greater scheme.

It is a stroke of the genius of the Creator that Donald Trump came to the Presidency when such a person was needed most. His particular personality allows him the freedom to speak the truth, plainly, as he sees it, without the fears and impediments of most politicians. He has appeared in the nick of time just as the Climate zealots threaten to ruin economies across the western world.

Husband and I have just watched on TV this unlikely saviour deliver the truth in plain words at the UN. Amazing…..

So what is the purpose of the UN? If you could score the UN out of ten and I have had a lifetime of watching the UN do nothing, it would rate 0. That’s a lot for at least $10Billion a year in wage costs alone. And all the committees, like the WHO, have been captured by China. It’s standard communist practice. So why does it still exist? Maybe on balance in a world under threat of nuclear war, it’s better to have any forum, even a communist one. Especially when 75% of countries are military dictatorships and all pretend to be democracies with elections. Like Venezuela. Urkraine hasn’t had an election in a long time and usually jails the last President, just like Brazil today.

When I was very young and under the delusion of the UN being a righteous and moral organisation, I actually thought working for the UN and helping to improve the lives of people was a worthy career option.

The UN is the League of Nations version 2.0. It was mostly created by the Democratic Party unelected of the FDR/Truman administrations in the wake of WWII. Most of the same problems of the League have become manifest in version 2.0. Version 1.0 was also infiltrated by communists. However, Version 1.0 never had the power of taxation, nor were it’s “laws” and policies enforced in supposedly sovereign nations even right down to the local level.

      150

      • #
        TdeF

And they do not have the power of taxation. The UN is not an elected government. Usually old political hacks. Their demands are an ambit claim, hoping electred politicians will hand over the cash, especially those who are buying their membership of the world’s most exclusive and privileged group. So it’s the elected giving favours to the unelected who take the money on a tacit promise of later favours. What you would call theft, bribery, corruption, not taxation.

(An “ambit claim” is an extravagant initial demand made during negotiations)

reason I can think of that the US still hosts it.

US does not host the Un. It is on gifted land. It abides by US law but is not bound to. This US cannot impeded visitors to and officials of the UN in transit to the headquarters.

US citizens enter the headquarter precinct at the invitation of the Secretary General with passes issued for certain individuals to inspect. And disputes between UN and US would be settled in the International Court of Justice.

The land was gifted by Rockefeller. The UN cannot sell the land without US approval. If they were to move, the US would have the right to acquire the land at a price to be determined.

I expect Trump could make it very difficult for UN but where else would he get an audience like he had yesterday.

I did not know that. But even if the UN building is on private land, what about all the staff, diplomats and other hangers on who break the parking laws every day and are otherwise a nuisance. They must live in NY.

I visited the UN building a few years ago. It felt to me that I was behind enemy lines.

It might rate less than 0. Remember the ‘good’ work of the UN with their involvement in Haiti’s cholera outbreak after the 2010 earthquake. Nepalese troops were deployed to the country under the authority of the UN to assist with recovery, reconstruction, and stability efforts. They also bought cholera. Analysis traced the strain in Haiti to a strain that had been present in Nepal just prior to the troop deployment. The subsequent epidemic killed nearly 10,000 and infected over 820,000 people. Quite an achievement.

When the UN was established soon after WW2 the then Australian Attorney General (Labor far-left) Evatt advised his comrades there that treaties and agreements must be signed with member nations covering as many topics and areas as possible. His plan was for compliant governments to legislate the UN agendas into law and for regulations to be attached to enable implementation ignoring constitutions.

I cannot recall even one referendum asking voters here what we wanted.

An example of the manipulation is UN registered National Parks that were state forests and land and now no logging, no mining, no just about everything apart from since Labor RET installation of wind, solar, batteries and transmission lines with access roads and even hilltops flattened.

Marine National Parks commercial fishing prohibited, and now Australians are offered imported and including farmed seafoods, many fishing coops have closed down and fishing trawlers sold or scrapped.

Look at UN Agenda 21 – Sustainability (now Agenda 30) and local government participation with meetings regularly held and ratepayers restricted in many ways.

The UN was established for very good reasons and purposes but was hijacked by the left side of politics who have created a driving force that is like unelected world parliament.

Our dogged Prime Minister, youthful Communist Anthony Albanese, has been trotting around behind President Trump like a rejected puppy dog, hurt by Australian accusations that he has failed to gain a formal, face-to-face session, when other countries, some rather minor like Nepal, have succeeded.
Finally, a Trump invitation to meet formally has been issued for “next month”. To Airbus Albo will flit off to crime-reduced Washington to meet the man who has just described him as from a “green energy scam” country making stupid, economy-wrecking policies that contrast sharply with US economic and social successes.
Question. Is the delay to “next month” planned, so that Albanese has time to issue new policies that will recognise that Trump was right?

Geoff – you completely underestimate the venom behind TDS. These are quite clearly stupid people as Trump describes them. They did not understand. They will be told by their ABCs, BBC, CNN, you name the media source, that Trump is not following the science. That is the reassuring words they want to hear to reinforce their position on Trump.

A lot of people have built their careers and livelihood on Climate Change – including many current elected officials, most of government including the government funded press and research groups.. A few words from Trump is not going to alter their resolve to perpetuate the scam In their belief system they are doing their Gods work against the forces of evil personified by Trump..

Albanese announced recognition and thus Australian approval and support for genocidal madmen, religious extremists, extortionists and mass murderers in Gaza as now entitled to own all of Israel. And rushed to Washington to see what Trump thought their stunt and its timing. Why? Words fail. It redefines stupid.

I know Albanese and crew are lifelong communists of incredibly low intelligence, but really but in shift fronting Trump and our closest and most important and powerful ally in America, whose approval are Albanese and Wong courting? President Xi?

With only 36% of the primary vote, what possessed these two losers to pretend the speak on behalf of all Australians? There are a hundred far more important people in New York at present, people who really matter on the world stage. People who will decide our future.

Trump will wait a week or three and quietly tell Albanese and Mr Wong what he really thought of two Chinese lapdogs bearing grift. And their timing.

And Trump’s mother was born in the Outer Hebrides at Tong on the island of Lewis. and spoke no English until after she left high school. Trump is more than qualified to speak with distress about the collapse of Scotland, Britain and London in particular, once the world’s greatest city. And like Winston Churchill who shook up the place, with an American mother. Both kept these facts very quiet, as did the press.

The Left are screaming with their hands over their ears, massive Anti-Trump flood in the SMH-

“Trump stuns UN with defiant tirade: ‘Your countries are going to hell’.- The US president used the global stage of the UN to lecture the world on unchecked immigration and the “con job” of climate change in an at-times threatening address.”

“‘A complete breakdown’ in Trump-Albanese relationship, says O’Brien”

“Trump asserts unproven link between paracetamol and autism, urges parents to delay vaccines”

“‘He still has three years to create more chaos’: Workers scramble, Trump unleashes visa panic”

“Trump’s Albanese snub raises questions about Rudd’s clout”

“Trump loves to gossip about what he’s ‘heard’ but this was taking it too far.- Donald Trump often casts himself as a mere observer of life. That can be harmless – until he gives the full weight of the presidency to unfounded rumours about autism.”

“Pregnancy is already a stressful time. Trump just made it worse”

“Trump may sidestep Albanese. The fate of the US-Australia alliance will be tougher to ignore”

Should be fun in the next few weeks-

Evaluation of the evidence on acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental disorders using the Navigation Guide methodology

      Conclusions
Our analyses using the Navigation Guide thus support evidence consistent with an association between acetaminophen exposure during pregnancy and increased incidence of NDDs. Appropriate and immediate steps should be taken to advise pregnant women to limit acetaminophen consumption to protect their offspring’s neurodevelopment.

In some respects, Trump is actually doing more for the wellbeing of Australia than our own political leaders. It’s just such a shame that our political phases are out of sync at the moment. When I write comments to my subscribed newspaper, maybe now I can use the word “scam” and climate change in the same sentence? Before, if you wrote “scam” or “hoax” or “con job”, you would expect to be Raqueled. Moderated, rejected. Words are powerful.

I actually think it is a blessing. Trump is truly a godsend. The fact that Trump survived the assassins bullet is a true miracle for the entire globe. That incident probably spurred his conviction to make the absolute most of this term. It would be hard for him to not feel the love. That speech was incredible in scope and delivery. His energy is staggering.

The contrast of Trump’s USA and Laobr’s Australia over the next 3 years will be increasingly stark. I expect that it will embolden sane people in Australia and their voice will get louder. It will condemn Labor to the sidelines for decades while the damage is undone.

Australia has a mighty deep hole to climb out of.

“Predictions made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes…”

Ok – lets put together an Australian list (in no particular order) :-
    Tim Flannery
    Kevin Rudd
    Malcolm Turnbull
    Matt Kean
    David Karoly
    Chris Bowen
    Anthony Albanese
Any of the federal chief scientists for the last 30 years, but more notably Penny Sackett, Alan Finkel
    Penny Wong
    Andrew Forrest
    Mike Cannon Brookes
    Simon Holmes a Court
    Bob Brown
    David Gonski
    Any Green or Teal politician

There’s a lot of other useful idiots, but this list covers those who made predictions.

I would have included dear Lily, but was trying to keep a more national type list. I think she did a Flannery at one stage- predicted that building more dams was not going to work, because it wasn’t going to rain. She also tends to blame unreliable coal, forgetting that on most days it’s supplying at least 60% of electricity to the state.

It’s a much shorter list, but here are some of the Australian climate realists of note :-

        Bob Carter
        Ian Plimer
        Craig Kelly
        Tony Abbott
        Senator Nick Minchin
        Senator Malcolm Roberts
        Jo Nova/ David Evans
Campbell Newman (maybe not while in office, but more lately?)
        Viv Forbes
        Andrew Bolt
        Clive James

During his first term as POTUS Donald Trump addressed the United Nations in New York and included in his address told them the UN had grown beyond the original charter and that the too many attached organisations must be removed. He pointed out that operating costs all included was ridiculously high.

He advised the UN to stop interfering into the internal affairs of member nations.

He refused to allow the US to participate in the UNIPCC Paris Agreement demands on member nations.

And as he does the second term he pursues the UN Lima declaration and related treaties-agreements that have undermined developed nations in favour of developing nations that have taken advantage of free trade agreements to effectively subsidise manufacturers to dump cheap goods into developed nations undermining manufacturing industry.

$2.2 billion solar plant in California turned off after years of wasted money: ‘Never lived up to its promises’

“Ivanpah stands as a testament to the waste and inefficiency of government subsidized energy schemes,”Jason Isaac, CEO of the American Energy Institute, an American energy advocacy group, told Fox News via statement this past February. It “never lived up to its promises, producing less electricity than expected, while relying on natural gas to stay operational.”

Plus I was amazed at how Trump demolished the whole Climate Change hoax with common sense, no science required. About time!

It shows how science has been corrupted, twisted to suit a purpose. And real scientists openly harassed, silenced, ridiculed and threatened. It’s a huge $20Trillion industry. Fun Fact. America is not playing any more.

Which just leaves the old Commonwealth countries, France and Germany to show their takeover by socialists/fascists. As in the 1930s.

It will be fascinating how Albanese handles Trump’s plain statement that man made Climate Change is the world’s biggest hoax.

Albanese/Bowen are doubling down on every form of taxation, carbon credits, Climate Change misinformation/disinformation (AHRC) before the Senate today. Soon it will be illegal to question man made Climate Change in Australia for fear of the AHRC. This was done with aboriginal rights.

I don’t think Alabanese’s silly ‘fun fact’ will do anything but infuriate the US. China is opening two coal power plants a week.

We do not need ‘rights’ laws in Australia. They are completely foreign and unnecessary and wrong. Which is why simple intimidation was the way with Triggs, costing people $5000 to not go to court.

And it will be interesting how the press handle Trump’s plain statements. Will they try to address them? Or just ridicule him? Half the people in German jails being foreign nationals is damning. Talk about inconvenient truth.

Interesting how such critical history depends on one personality.
Who else could have walked in and given them the what for?
        Long overdue.
All the effort that was undertaken to remove him.
And this one personality was uniquely able to withstand and overcome what I think is the single, most nefarious, and not yet well identified and understood cabals in history … The Blob.
Imagine if the upheaval of 1347 had been a political psyop.
Pandemic was, at least if not purposely initiated, quickly completely redirected for sinister purpose.
The ‘Public Health’ response likely far more lethal than the contagion.

Rough seas ahead, because The Blob has built a machine for the industrial manufacture of political dysfunction and social mania.
We don’t know quite where the central command is.
I’m not sure they do either.
