* This post will Stick to the Top. New posts will file in underneath *

Of all the grand failures of the last 12 weeks, the most unexpected has been The Media, which is saying something, because my expectations were so low. Or so I thought. But who knew that so many otherwise great publications would fail to pick up the biggest story in our lifetimes?

Truth is, it starts with the media. It’s our national conversation. If we had better media, we’d get better politicians. It all follows. When the nightly news says “even Mitch McConnell denounces blah” — they don’t say “but his in-laws are shipping magnates trading with Beijing and sit on the board of the Bank of China.” Maybe that matters?

So here, trying to help craft the new media world, I’d like to thank all those that make this adventure possible, and ask anyone who can spare enough to buy me a box of chocolate if they could chip in. Please. I do appreciate your help.

Ripples from this US election are already lapping on Australian shores. Both climate and Big-Tech policies are already under pressure.

History books will be written…

Um. I ordered 100 chocolates. Receipt shows 1 chocolate.

How might this be resolved? Used PayPal with CC.

Ah. Paypal showed a “token” reservation number of $1.

CC account shows correct amount pending reconciliation of charge.

        No worries.

Kind of weird how they do that stuff.

It is weird, and I should have explained, forgive me. Long ago Paypal declared they could not allow donations to me because I’m not a registered charity. You may have thought you could donate to anyone you darn well liked, but you can only “gift” me — not donate, and paypal didn’t have a category for gifts. So I had to set up a system to “buy” chocolate support to keep me from going hungry. I decided to go with $1 units and let people choose whatever number they were confortable with, rather than limit it to a $10 or $50 “box” or so on. That may have been a mistake. I’m sure professional marketers would tell me off. Luckily I write for a bright audience eh?

You once had direct deposit details which I have used. I note the latest transfer did not bounce so may I suggest you avoid PayPal and their connection to big tech and just use DD. Set up an account to receive the donations and transfer those funds to your own account as you wish. It would be no different to a multitude of businesses who deal with DD as their preferred way of payment. No point in making profits for PayPal which is now one of our enemies.

Over the past few months and particularly after the election this site has been far more informative than the local media. I pay $36 a month to the Australian and was paying $32 to the Daily Telegraph to receive their version of the truth/news. Since they avoided the truly interesting bits I would be as ignorant as the majority about the fraud in the election. I have heard Ray Hadley and others claiming “nothing to see here” and know they know nothing. Thank God for Jo on this occasion but also for another view on the Wuflu and her marvelous work exposing the stupidity of climate change and this weeks favoured remedy.

I have also begun using Dissenter and DuckDuckGo and find them fast and accurate. The only way small fish like us can punish the big guys (The Big Guy) is by avoiding them and ignoring them. Which reminds me. At 0300 EDST His Fraudulency will be inaugurated watched by some flags, thousands of bemused soldiers and some brown nosing Republicans. I sincerely hope not one Trump supporter turns up, even to jeer, and that none watch the travesty on TV.

I note that Liz Chaney is feeling the heat for doing a Brutus on Trump with lots of blowback from the state GOP. Come 2022 there will be a lot of new faces representing Republicans as the RINOs meet their well deserved culling.

I am sure every reader here has found alternative news services such as Epoch Times and American Thinker. Jo is providing an Australian voice so please support her.

Paypal — for it’s flaws — is better for overseas transfer on smaller amounts. Plus I can sometimes manage to spend the money in it’s original currency, without the exchange fees. I get some satisfaction from using USD to buy US goods, and so on, depriving the banks…

Paypal have cut off an alternative to GoFund me, GiveSendgo, as they do not like their politics. So I avoid Paypal now. If you do buy on ebay, you can set up to charge you credit card direct from your ebay account. This avoids paypal. I will send direct deposit tonight. Trade more from Craigslist or gumtree instead if you can.

In the UK, the BBC, Channel 4 and in fact all the television channels and all the legacy media have been abysmal in their coverage of the US elections, the fraud and all the subsequent activities. There has been not a single dissenting voice in the UK. Only this website has provided the truth about what went on and is still going on. Thank you Jo – chocs ordered.

David M: Often the FB, Twatter, Gurgle, etc, believe they hold all of the web hosting server equipment hostage. That’s not so.

There’s a place in Michigan, US called “PCServer&Parts” that can provide repurposed OEM and surplus Servers at significant discounts of 50% to 90% less than “new”. Perhaps there are others. I’ve no association with them.

      https://pcserverandparts.com/refurbished-servers/

But, that being said, they can have a server configured and shipped in 3 days.

I know it isn’t a replacement for honest brokerage, but it is an alternative to being held hostage by oligarchs.

      40

      • #

There is a bigger issue here.

After they chase conservatives off the dominant social media, and people set up their own server empire, “they” still control the wires and cables. They control the payment system, the currency and the banks.

If the Good Guys don’t fight back now, it’s inevitable that sooner or later they will take the Internet away too.

At what point do we say enough is enough? Better to protest while we still have some channels and some friends in the infrastructure.

How galling it must be, as Biden is inaugurated as 46th POTUS, for many commenters to reflect back on the heady days from November 3 to today when headlines on this site such as these

The Speech every media outlet should play in full: Watch Trump — solemn, careful, determined
Paths to Victory — Contingent election or State Legislators picking Electors
Was that a 100% plus voter turn-out in some Michigan precincts?
Trump’s team have German servers, raw data, warn of violence as bombshells will be released
Pennsylvania Case Heads To Supreme Court: Were the votes unlawful?

were so certain Trump would overcome all the odds, definitively prove the election was rigged and would be inaugurated on January 20 2021. A small and random sample of these hopeful headlines

Well, it didn’t happen. The Kraken did not waken, Trump lost 61 out of 62 lawsuits, had no joy in trying to get the Electoral Colleges votes changed by Mike Pence, failed to get Brad Raffensperger to find 11,870 votes for him, was blamed by his Party for losing the Senate run-offs in Georgia that gave control of the Senate to the Democrats, was held responsible for the Capitol invasion which lost him a lot of support in the electorate, had members of the GOP voting with the Democrats for his impeachment and finally had to accept defeat and leave the White House

The Left are trying to write President Trump out of history and “unperson” him as instructed by the Left’s instruction manual, Nineteen Eighty Four.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. History has stopped.”

The Republicans are also doing it. They can’t wait to get back to “mainstream” politics instead of thinking about the Republic and the Constitution like Trump tried to do for the last 4 years. They don’t want him back either so many are happy to try and block him from ever running for POTUS ever again. So much for the Constitutional Republic; it’s now dead and soon to be buried on Jan 20.

      Check your CC account.
Apparently, PayPal receipt shows a “token” charge that will be reconciled in the correct amount.

Seems it is a “placeholder” until the actual amount is posted to the account and reconciled.

It happened the same way for me with a CC charge for fuel at a gas station. The token was posted immediately as a reservation of charge, with the final amount being posted later. Seems to be some normal way they do these things.

I like that: “once Trump got kicked to the kerb” because it also describes the way the voting population have been treated.

The early detail of CV19 deaths seemed to signal something was up. Most reported deaths were in the age range 75 to 92 years and since the early days the data hasn’t inspired me to think that we are being given the truth about this “dangerous” pandemic.

The important thing according to our Premier, Berys, is that “testing” continues at what seems to be a minimum of 10,000 per day. That’s half a million dollars a day from NSW taxpayers going to someone with a big smile on their face. Is that fizr laughing in the background?

In the last 11 months civil society has been destroyed, humanity forgotten and life crushed on the altar of World Politics.

We may eventually push back, but how is the question.

      Thanks for the link Lance.

Odd/pathetic that the Western countries do not use Ivermectin as a treatment (reduces death rate by a factor of 10 vs placebo) and as a prophylactic reduces the occurrence of covid by a factor of 20.)

      From your link.

“The trial included 400 patients split into four groups — two consisting of patients with mild to moderate illness and two consisting of severely ill patients. Patients with mild to moderate illness received one dose of ivermectin per day in addition to standard care or hydroxychloroquine twice a day in addition to standard care.

The researchers determined that the rate of illness progression was significantly lower among those who received ivermectin (1% vs. 22%). Severely ill patients were assigned to receive standard care plus ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine. The researchers determined that in addition to lower rates of COVID-19 illness progression in the ivermectin group (4% vs. 30%), the ivermectin group also had a lower mortality rate (2% vs. 20%).”

Jo, you deserve the biggest box of chocolates each of us can afford. You site over the last few weeks has been an eye opener and has shown what a diligent, investigative reporter should be able to produce.

It has astounded me that a newspaper (The Australian) that I used to think fairly presented the news from both sides has completely hidden any reference to the plethora of vote manipulation and illegal voting activities that you have reported on. It is now so bad, that I cannot even get a comment published in the Australian if it even hints at the fact that Biden’s 8 militons votes was a figment of Dominion and illegal voting activities. Any comment of mine that indicates that Trump was correct to suspect that he was cheated out of the presidency never sees the light of day.

So, Jo, more strength to your arm if you intend to expand this blog into a more general news site which also contains all the good stuff you normally do on climate. I know some think that what you are doing at the moment is beyond what the site should be about, but it is clear now that Climate Change, the COVID response throughout the world and the insidious disease of creeping Marxism is all part of the grand UN plan of the Great Reset, which the Democrats have embraced.

So the biggest box of chocolates that I can afford at the moment will be on its way to you today.

    You’re a star Jo.

It’s beyond belief the lack of coverage of the alleged US election fraud in international press and in our papers in Oz.

We somehow must create a bigger platform; Epoch Times, revolver.com etc all bound into one to focus content and limit cost.

I donated today. I only remark Jo because I suggest you ask more often; copy Gerry Harvey.

We all need to keep the radar turning as David Ogilvy, founder of Ogilvy & Mather, once said.

The bigger, integrated platform idea is interesting, but it would be down a layer maybe.

The funding issue is something we should discuss because Jo needs to have that weight lifted so she can relax a bit.

Over the last few months I’ve bought papers on Saturday and midweek. Then I cut it to Saturday only, and then only one paper. A few weeks ago I stopped everything.

All the money not spent there will go to chocolates from now on.

Money coming in from overseas is hit twice by the banks: for currency conversion they take the entire difference between buy and sell as a safety precaution and then they charge their fee. Max benefit to bank, big cut for the person sending for chocolate.

Ping, hit the bell and make it happen.

      🙂

It was obvious to me for some time. The only question was when would it start, or should I say resume the decline now that Trump is out of the way. It’s just the start. The only question is how far will they go? If they go on long enough it will be very much like a mixture of Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany on steroids given the advancements in technology. The question is will the people wake up early enough and stop acting like mushrooms feeding on BS before it gets that far. Only time will tell.

      50

I find it equally horrific that Trump has fraudulently claimed the election was rigged without a shred of legally acceptable evidence. That the judiciary are maligned for acting professionally and according to law. That despite the Attorney General William Barr and election officials in every state stating there was no evidence of fraud, Conservatives refuse to accept that, choosing instead to believe Trump’s claims despite his lack of evidence.

In particular I find it horrific that Trump tried to bully Pence into changing the Electoral College voting and Raffensperger to find him another 11,870 votes. That is the sort of behaviour that is prevalent in so called “banana republics, not the country that is supposed to be leader of the Westertn World. That commenters here seem to believe that behaviour is perfectly acceptable is also horrific particularly as the law has categorically stated that there is no evidence.

Has it never not occurred to commenters that if Trump really had admissible evidence why he didn’t seek the advice of an eminent judge to look at that evidence and give him an opinion as to its legal validity before presenting his lawsuits? The obvious reason is there was no such evidence.

        “without a shred”. Apt.
The 11,870 votes were fraudulent ballots for Joe. Trump wanted them found to be checked as required by the Georgia legislature. Clearly checking could not be allowed so boxes full of those fake ballots were commandeered by armed guards in State uniform and taken for shredding.
        Horrific? You bet.

        All quite predictable.
Even Hillary knew exactly how Trump thought and reacted to losing:

        EVERY TIME, ‘IT’S RIGGED’’

“Every time Donald thinks things are not going in his direction, he claims whatever it is, is rigged against him,” she said in a debate, also in October 2016.

“The FBI conducted a year-long investigation into my emails; they concluded there was no case – he said the FBI was rigged.

“He lost the Iowa caucus and the Wisconsin primary; he said the Republican primary was rigged against him.

“The Trump University gets sued for fraud and racketeering; he claims the court system and the federal judge is rigged against him.

“There was even a time when he didn’t get an Emmy for his TV program three years in a row, and he started tweeting that the Emmys were rigged.”

Yeah. Hillary knew because she did the same thing, except unlike Donald Trump — she didn’t have any evidence and a four year Russia Russia investigation by her FBI friends found nothing.

The White House brochures on “There is no climate crisis” have been removed. Apart from Roy Spencer’s effort, I think they all “need work”, but can still be found on the Wayback Machine. However – where is that located? In the USA? If so, they may not be there for much longer.

    https://web.archive.org/web/20210113092654/http://www.drroyspencer.com/2021/01/white-house-brochures-on-climate-there-is-no-climate-crisis/

I have the full set on flash drive. We are going to be living in interesting times. I am considering encrypting a lot of stuff using 7Z, which doesn’t have a back door and no one so far has been able to break, unless perhaps they use the “rubber hose” technique. That is explained first up if you use duckduckgo, but not Google. Why are we not surprised.

    History books will be written…

    …by Winston, using a SpeakWrite.

I’m sad to reflect that I’m happier being at the end of my life than at the beginning. I was discussing the Trump legacy with a 30-something. His response was to tell me that Blair was a better man… I think the word I’m looking for is ‘dichotomy’… My friend was not old enough to remember dodgy dossiers; I doubt he even recalled the wars Blair fought (sorry, caused others to fight) and the people he killed – compared to Trump.

It appears the Brave browser is also fighting for free speech.
Brave browser makes a bold step toward allowing a decentralized web

“Brave is now going to offer native integration with a peer-to-peer networking protocol and is the first mainstream browser to do.”

“The browser makes use of the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) technology to improve upon the existing HTTP protocol, while also increasing the speed of accessing content. Generally speaking, HTTP obtains information from a central server. But IPFS, however, obtains information from a network of distributed nodes.”

“At a juncture where online censorship has become a rampant issue, be it due to Big Tech or authoritative regimes such as China, a decentralized web may be a plausible solution as it cannot be manipulated or controlled like the conventional web.”

Let’s hope so because we need a better way to pursue our right to free speech over the internet unfettered.

I hope that you got my contribution which I transferred directly to the bank account. I didn’t actually use the tip jar.
Anyway, I was thinking about what I pay for subscription services such as the Herald Sun or membership of the IPA and evaluate that the contribution that your site contributes to my enjoyment of life is definately worth similar remuneration. In particular during this media blackout of the indications of election fraud yours was the first site I would access for information. In some ways I feel guilty that I might be involved in my own little echo chamber and some of the posts were even too conspiratorial for me, but I appreciated that I was getting information here that most people were being deprived of. In exactly the same way your site has shone a light for years on the global warming fraud it highlighted that this same behaviour was clear during the elections.
Thanks Jo for all the tireless work you do and I do really feel that I’m in a war and that you are allowing me to join you as one of the resistance fighters. With the recent ugliness of the cancel culture and censorship by the media( social and otherwise, conservatives need to hang tough and not give up the fight because of the consequences of resisting those in power.
What we are seeing now everywhere in the world is a creeping socialists agendas peeling away many of our individual rights and freedoms and if we stay silent life as we know it will change dramatically..

In order to preserve and to widen free speech around the world on the Internet we need:
    1. A bank that doesn’t play politics
    2. A payment processor that doesn’t play politics
    3. A network infrastructure provider that doesn’t play politics
    4. A server provider that doesn’t play politics.

Off the top of my head I can only think of one, “recently unemployed” 🙂 person with the money and the connections to do all that.

The zero point is a free currency.

    80

    • #

      Exactly and well said Bernd.

I said something like this on another thread. If we set up our servers, they still own the wires, and the network. And the currency…

The whole system needs to be scrapped. Open source software is the way to go. Our banking, security, capital market and government software is porous to select corporations and the ‘swamp’ government.

Banking, internet, email and media industries should have countervailing responsibilities commensurate to their privileges. Without a social structure, which belongs to all of us, they have no business.

Exactly how to execute that and keep them from morphing into malevolent powers is where it gets difficult.

There are some good writings about these issues but in the interim people need to walk e up and be informed so enough people can band together and withdraw consent to where our society is being intentionally pushed.

Jo – I really can’t thank you enough. I’m not sure what is worst in the US at the moment – the media, the politicians or the self-righteousness (most evident in cities on the West Coast and in the North-East).

Mitch McConnell probably wins that contest.

Too many Washington Republicans think they can survive and pick up seats in the mid-term elections – but I have my doubts. Will the dynamism of Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell ignite any passion in Republican voters? I don’t think so.

    50

    • #

Top of the list — the media. If we had better media the RNC would not have been able to put Mitch forward as a candidate. That’s how it should work.

Though I would settle for a crooked media if we had real elections and free speech.

And as for the Midterms, I’m not sure (I hate to say) if it matters at all what Mitch and Mitt say to the citizens. If they bargain well enough with those who control the vote counts, they can bypass any unpopularity…

I wish it were not so.

In a democracy the media was to be the ‘4th estate’. But it was captured by enemies of freedom. It was captured because it is so powerful and as long as we have the malevolent controlling the creation of money they’ll always be able to capture the media.

The mid terms could be a bloodbath. The party is split with Trump faithful refusing to vote for the old school swapies and the swampies refusing to vote for those who stood shoulder to shoulder with 45. Even primarying the slugs will be of little use, the real conservatives will stay home.

America is stuffed, and that saddens me greatly.

As Biden takes office we suddenly have all the covid lies exposed. Watch for a quick removal of some of the restrictions as the Democrats actually follow Trumps philosophy. The virus will suddenly be “under control”.

Of course many places are probably close to or at herd immunity, and it never was a serious threat. But now that Trump has been disposed of they need to give a show of how great the economy will be under them.

But watch for surveillance to be maintained. All that signing in, which I never do if at all possible, will be supposedly needed.

Watch to see where Morrison goes. He has been a disappointment on so many levels. He could have been like Ron De Santis or Christi Noem, but he is really Mr Lockdown Lite – still following the narrative, but not as obviously…

    Thanks again for your information.

    Hello Jo
Yesterday I sent a little AUD directly to your NAB bank account using TransferWise – I hope you got it.

Does anyone else use TransferWise for international payments ?
I started using them last year after many positive recommendations and have found it to be very good.
Good for small and large transactions.
They use the midpoint rate for the exchange calculation.

For instance here is a comparison sending AUD from a NZD source based on todays exchange rates
Paypal: to send AUD 100 would cost me NZD 113.62 (exchange rate 0.880), and I am not quite sure what the recipient actually gets, but it may be a little less than AUD 100.
TW : to send AUD 100 would cost me NZD 110.35 (exchange rate 0.928 + NZD 2.56 fee), and the recipient will get exactly AUD 100 in their Australian bank account

Jo, there is something incredibly and supremely ironic about how, on the one hand, we, the so-called climate-change ‘deniers’, have led the charge for the last 20-odd years against the global-warming fraud, the so-called scientists and the political elitists behind it; and, on the other, the election-fraud deniers who have led the charge against the millions of Trump supporters who have shown so much evidence – real and circumstantial – of a greater fraud: the theft of democracy.
A further irony is that many – or most, in my estimation – of the election-fraud deniers are made up of those who are pushing the climate-change fraud for all it’s worth – and usually, for their benefit.

Not sure where to post this, but like many in this community I am fed up with the rise of western totalitarianism. This morning I was happy to read an op-ed piece on France Soir, a widely read online newspaper. The title is “CALL FOR THE GENERAL MOBILISATION OF THE FRENCH PEOPLE AGAINST TYRANNY” and is based on a well founded interpretation of the constitution. The original is here, and the Google Translate English version there.
