Don’t wait for Twitter to let you organise mass protests

Priority One: Open new lines of communication

We’re in an Information War but good citizens are waiting for the Tech Giants to let them get organized.

The first comment by John R Smith today, is so apt. He lived near the Virginia Protest but didn’t know it was happening.  He and so many others. USA citizens need to get around the media-tech iron curtain.

John R Smith

Thanks for this.
Feeling pretty low.
I’m not that far away and have heard nothing.
Makes me feel good.
Getting that kind of turnout in No Va is impressive.
I was taught the fight starts when there is no choice.
Death, loss, pain, opinion, love, hate, become irrelevant.

We know if this was Greta Thunberg, CNN would tell the world it was a phenomenon.

How inspiring would it be for US Citizens to be part of that energy chanting U.S.A. U.S.A.. For them to know that nearly everyone around them felt the same way about corruption? This is the social dynamite the corrupt fear. This kind of passion is infectious and unstoppable.

Yesterday at the Army Navy Game:

The left control most of the institutions, but if President Trump asked the Defence Force to defend the constitution, what are the odds they would not just obey but leap into action?

We don’t want the military called in if there is a peaceful way to solve this, and there still is. Imagine the effect of 70 million Americans on the streets chanting U.S.A and holding the flag high? Is that what it takes to get SCOTUS and the State Legislatures to feel they must consider the evidence? To feel that any death threats, harassment and pressure is nothing compared to the fight that’s coming if this is not resolved through debate and discussion — as it should be?

And it works both ways. Donald Trump is facing some of the hardest decisions any President will ever have to make. Worth billions, he doesn’t have to pick up this gauntlet. Imagine the effect this sort of energy has on his resolve?

Tap this energy. Also yesterday:

How will millions walk the streets in peaceful protest if they rely on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube and Google?

Twitter is so pettily, malignantly anti-Trump it even removed the ‘Like,’ ‘Reply’ and Retweet count functions Trump Tweets this weekend.  The last thing Twitter wants is for Americans to know they are not alone, or that Trump has massive support.

We’re in an Information War. There is something you can do.

Strategically, honest law abiding citizens have the tools now. The USA is not the Soviet Union (don’t wait). People can reach out through email and by phone, they can join like minded groups, and subscribe to lists.

We don’t have to stop using Twitter and Facebook– wins can still be achieved — but we must not rely on those channels. Join Gab, Parler, Bitchute, Rumble etc.

Everyone who shares information is part of the battle for free speech and honest elections. Thanks to people who comment and link or just talk to friends with a beer.

The CCP is the natural enemy of the military, so why wouldn’t the military be on Trump side?

The military will not act unilaterally unless all legal options are exhausted, and possibly not even then. There is no doubt that their senior officers take their oath of allegiance very seriously. I would say much more so than some or possibly even most Australian senior officers do.

Should serious violence erupt on the streets and POTUS declare martial law, then it all lies in the hands of the military. The military has its own law enforcement, judicial and penal systems, and I wouldn’t expect to see too much of a softly softly approach. They will be at war with a domestic enemy that needs to be defeated.

          G’day Ted,
You’ve used the word “unilaterally”, and I agree with your assessment. But, and it’s a big but, POTUS is commander in chief, and he has set up a legal framework with his Executive Order to use the military to investigate and act to preserve the constitution, which he has sworn to defend. Including under the National Emergency under which the election has been held.
So any call out of the military by him to put down a discovered fraud, would not be “unilaterally” and would be completely legal, as I understand it.
          Cheers
          Dave B

That assertion is so utterly wrong I don’t know where to begin.

It is the “senior officers” who are the biggest problem. They are the ones who turned on Trump over and over again.

It is the lower rank officers (LTs and some Captains) who would never go all in for the traitor mode.

But the real strength AND numbers lie in all those NCOs and the rank and file under their command.

Above Captains I would not trust anyone as far as I could throw them.

5 thumbs up and 4 thumbs down (12:30aam Monday). My comment is to point out the underground surreptitious communications war we need, that’s the subject of Jo’s message. Understand it by associating it with a related critical war of a previous generation. It’s a 21st century cultural civil war. Understand it with reference to related historical periods.

Eric Swalwell, Hunter Biden and the DNC CP

Low-hanging fruit. When enemies of our country look to infiltrate and/or compromise someone to their side, that’s exactly what they reach for. No point in going to the top — the likelihood of getting to them, let alone turning them, is minimal. But the easy targets, the ambitious or troubled, far enough away from the goal so as to not be noticed, but possibly on their way, are ripe for the pickings. Those wishing this country ill need only an opportunity; an in. With the same goals, only different tactics, the Ch@nese Communists went fishing for and caught Eric Swalwell and Hunter Biden.

Eric Swalwell and Hunter Biden served different purposes and required different tactics, but both serve the same ultimate goal. These low-hanging fruits are the ones we know about. Given how easily they were picked, it makes you wonder how many others are out there…

    Joe Biden’s New Clothes

    Underdressed and Underqualified

The new suit is imaginary, and no one — including the Emperor, his family, all his aides, members of Congress, including RINOs, and the mainstream press — is willing to admit it. As the Emperor and his wife parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, no one is willing to say he is wearing only his underwear. Why?

    Mixed Storylines

Okay, so I mixed elements of Andersen’s short story with Joe Biden’s candidacy and presumption as ‘president-elect.’ Nevertheless, the burning question remains, is anyone on the Left willing to state the obvious? That Joe Biden’s cerebral faculties for handling the most important position in the world are questionable?

It is rumored that Biden (the Time Magazine co-person of the Year!), won’t last 75 days on the job and that the Democrats are unconcerned. CNN has recently “outed” Hunter Biden after months of subterfuge, so Joe’s days at the top are numbered. He is a mere tool of the Left and they have long contemplated quickly replacing him, likely by invoking the 25th amendment. With this ploy in mind, Biden’s controllers hand-picked Commie Kamala Harris (the other Time Magazine co-person of the Year), among the most Leftist senators ever; someone even further left than Barack Obama.

Nevermind that she was a total flameout in the Democrat primaries, unable to muster even two percent of Democrats’ support. “She has proved to be an uneven campaigner who changes her message and tactics to little effect and has a staff torn into factions.” Harsh words, indeed, but doubly so when you discover they were printed by the uber-leftist New York Times.

            “not by a long shot.”

Ever think about how many idioms English-speaking people use that refer to firearms — such as “going off half-cocked,” — even by people who have allowed themselves to be disarmed.

            41

            • #
              Greg Cavanagh

Going off half cocked, is at most 290 years old. We sure don’t give up on a good expression just because the thing referred to is no longer used. My favorite saying is “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”. God only knows how old that one is.

Flintlock firearms have a ‘cock’ or striker mechanism, which is held in a raised, sprung position ready to discharge and make a spark to ‘fire’ the gun. These can be set at half-cock, when the gun is in a safe state, or at full-cock, when it is ready to be fired. A gun would only ‘go off at half-cock’ by mistake.

The term half-cock is as old as flintlock guns and appears in print from the mid 18th century;for example, in John Desaguliers’ A course of experimental philosophy 1734–44: “The gun being at Half-Cock, the Spring acts upon the Tumbler with more Advantage.”

    See link for full article.

AUGUSTA, Georgia — Georgia Republican Party chairman David Shafer said Thursday during Vice President Mike Pence’s rally for the upcoming Senate runoff election that the state party is “trusting no one” as it prepares for Georgia’s voting process to begin.

Shafer told the rally crowd of several hundred Thursday afternoon that Georgians must vote for Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler regardless of accusations that voter fraud occurred in the November 3 general election. “The fight for election integrity and the fight for David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler go hand in hand,” Shafer said.

Shafer was adamant that the state party is preparing accordingly to avoid questions of election integrity in the runoff election, taking place January 5, and confirmed his organization has recruited 4,000 poll watchers for the race.

“I want to promise you that we are trusting no one and taking nothing for granted,” Shafer said. “We have recruited 4,000 poll watchers for the upcoming runoff elections. We filed suit against our own secretary of state. We’re gonna make sure we have eyes on every part of the process.”

If they’re still using the Dominion counting system, it won’t matter how closely they watch the machines process the forms. If you’re going to cheat on a vote, be the one doing the counting. Now that doubt has been sown (maybe demonstrated?) on that aspect of voting, can any nation really demonstrate they have free and fair elections?

As I said before, there will come a time when the left will go too far and cross the line. At that point the silent ones will revolt. People can be pushed an shoved so far. Where and when that limit is no one really knows. We just have to wait for the final straw to break the camel’s back and then the music changes tune in a big way. This will be especially so for Americans. Many silent types don’t even vote and just live their lives as privately as possible. When the fringe elements encroach their lives too much, watch out! The left will end up regretting the day they were born.

Media’s pre-election burial of Hunter Biden story proves dereliction of duty

So, while the novel “1984” was playing out as nonfiction in 2020 leading up to Election Day, the media mostly yawned in not defending the New York Post in any capacity. In fact, the coverage was very much the opposite:

Politico: “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.”

CNN: “The anatomy of the New York Post’s dubious Hunter Biden story

Washington Post: “The truth behind the Hunter Biden non-scandal”

New York Times: “Trump Had One Last Story to Sell. The Wall Street Journal Wouldn’t Buy It: Inside the White House’s secret, last-ditch effort to change the narrative, and the election — and the return of the media gatekeepers.”

Gallup and the Knight Foundation have found that 84 percent of Americans believe the media bears the blame for the divide in this country.

Just one-in-ten believes social media has a positive impact on the country.

What a sad entity this site has become. Nowhere has there been any solid, indisputable evidence of fraud in this election but commenters here prefer to believe Donald Trump a man known to be economical with the truth.

No one here seems to remember that Trump also claimed the 2016 election to be fraudulent. Then as now he gave no evidence to support that claim. A recount of the vote in Wisconsin in 2016 found no evidence of fraud and in fact gave Trump an extra 131 votes.

If Trump was so convinced the 2016 election was fraudulent why did he not take any steps during his presidency to investigate that claim?

It seems with regard to Presidential elections Mr Trump is a serial distorter of the truth.

Given SCOTUS are not interested in upholding the Constitution, it is now left the Trump do his duty and uphold the Constitution with force if necessary. He did say not long ago he will defend the Constitution come what may. We shall see if he has the courage to do it or fold when the moment of truth arrives. We’ll know soon enough but first he has to exhaust all the remaining avenues through the courts. After that and all else fails, as I suspect it will be the case, the moment of truth will be very revealing to his true character to see if he carried out his Constitutional duty. Is he a coward or is he a true patriot champion who will defend the Constitution no matter what it takes? We shall see. Be patient.

One comment I’ve seen elsewhere that caught my attention was the statement the recent decision of the SCOTUS was actually an endorsement of the Confederacy. How ironic given the SCOTUS is supposed to stand for the Republic of the US.

In order to obtain evidence suitable for prosecution in a court of law, complaints have to be filed. That has been done. However, there is no official follow-up by tasking investigators, providing them with resources, and issuing subpoenas to obtain further testimony. Thus, there is an absence of “solid, indisputable evidence of fraud in this election” because there has been no forensic investigation by those most qualified to perform such an investigation. You have the sequence of events backwards. The “solid, indisputable evidence” comes AFTER a complaint is filed. What has happened is analogous to a woman who has been raped, and filed a complaint, only to have the police taking the report, file the complaint in the circular filing cabinet!

If you find a dead body in the street, you don’t walk away and say, “There is no evidence of how the person died, so there is no reason to investigate as a possible homicide.” The credible appearance of a probable crime (thousands of sworn affidavits) should automatically trigger a thorough investigation. The fact that it hasn’t, and is defended by people like yourself, strongly suggests that those on the left are afraid of what will come crawling out if investigators start turning over rocks.

    BREAKING NEWS
Major leak ‘exposes’ members and ‘lifts the lid’ on the Chinese Communist Party.
A major leak containing a register with the details of nearly two million CCP members has occurred – exposing members who are now working all over the world, while also lifting the lid on how the party operates under Xi Jinping, says Sharri Markson. Ms Markson said the leak is a register with the details of Communist Party members, including their names, party position, birthday, national ID number and ethnicity. “It is believed to be the first leak of its kind in the world,” the Sky News host said. “What’s amazing about this database is not just that it exposes people who are members of the communist party, and who are now living and working all over the world, from Australia to the US to the UK,” Ms Markson said. “But it’s amazing because it lifts the lid on how the party operates under President and Chairman Xi Jinping”. Ms Markson said the leak demonstrates party branches are embedded in some of the world’s biggest companies and even inside government agencies.

Agree, some of those commenting here have absolutely no idea of the powder keg that the US is. We have inane comments in the media here and from my friends that there is no fraud when we have videos tapes and hundreds of affidavits. We have a SCOTUS which Alito, and he is one of them, said was not acting in the manner it was set up to do….

The Left have tied everything to the fact that ordinary people will have no idea what is going on and will not believe what they are doing. Facebook Google and Twitter are all acting like in a 3rd world revolution where the first thing that those taking over do is to get hold of the TV and radio stations. Well that is playing out well so far for the Left.

Then we layer on questionable covid masking (Jo – they don’t work, the latest Danish study and other hospital based ones before them with the flu show they are useless), power mad (Democratic) Governors trying to shut down businesses with lockdowns (and Biden talking of a national lockdown), which will mean they go out of business if they cannot remain open and all sorts of unnecessary restrictions, and we will have towns and cities in open defiance of these orders adding more fuel to the fire. We already have one in Washington state and there will be more.

If Biden does get to the Presidency we will almost certainly have civil disobedience on a scale Australians have never seen here. Having lived in the US they do not take lightly to freedoms being removed unlike the sheep in VIC.

Its a powder keg and at some stage it will go off.

It’s very obvious to me and I find it odd it’s not obvious for the vast majority of people everywhere. I suppose that’s because I listen to the real news, like here and stopped listening to the MSM and politicians. The MSM and politicians all speak with forked tongue virtually full-time. The only time they speak the truth is when they either do it by accident or it’s of no major relevance anyway.

The way I see it is no matter who ends up as POTUS, civil war is inevitable. If Biden wins it will happen as the the agenda of the left to convert the US to outright socialism (communist type) will force the millions of patriotic Americans who are vehemently oppose to such a move to fight for their Constitutional rights. If Trump wins, the left with do the same to Trump for blocking their attempt to convert the US. In either case, the Insurrection Act et al will be called upon to use the military in an attempt to quell the revolt. The interesting bit is which side will the military take? If Biden wins I doubt the military will comply. So, it appears the left will lose either way, which of course is the correct outcome. What happens after that though won’t be all song and dance. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it but my initial thoughts are China will become more involved in world affairs. Also, I see Russia siding with the US not China, perhaps. The real enemy is now China whereas during the last century it was the USSR.

Agree that Trump has gone out of his way to respect the military by turning up at graduations, and supporting the rank and file wherever he can. He has also avoided entanglements in foreign wars – which the top brass hate, but prevents lives lost.

I cannot see the Army following Bidens orders to hunt down and arrest Trump supporters, but I do see the Army rank and file siding with those who are concerned about the rampant fraud.

Is it Trump or is it a final deep state nail in the coffin of a Biden presidency? Too much of a coincidence that this story comes out after MSM does a complete about face on Hunter’s laptop. Smacks of orchestration.

The US Senate election on 9th January 2021 will be worth watching.

Raffensberger in Georgia is reputed to be plotting the to use the Presidential election cheats all over again. That could be interesting…

Some light relief. This link was in response to a comment I made about the implausibility of exclusive Biden votes appearing in the wee hours following Election Day in three states and similar exclusively Biden bags of votes in Pennsylvania over a period of a couple of days:

MonkeywerxUS predicts the next 30 days:

What we can expect to see in the next 30+ days:

I believe we are currently in the “10 days of darkness” as described by Q, as the unknown looms for many with Trump and his presidency (many thinking Biden will be the new POTUS) – very dark indeed.

Social unrest in the immediate area of the White House and then in MANY major cities around the Country will ensue once they realize Trump has won again

Attacks against the innocent in the form of domestic terrorism – look for false flag events and people going into the burbs

Attempts to collapse the economy with COVID shutdowns – mainly in the democratic run cities – they are doing this to control you

Expect food shortages and rolling power outages

    Increased fires

Blackout – when things become critical path, there will be a media blackout across all platforms (internet and tv) to prevent comms

Trump will be safe on AF1 as all of the arrests begin – between Christmas and Jan 13, 2021. First one will shock the world; and MANY will follow rapidly. I expect him to be sworn-in on AF1 for his 2nd term due to significant security risks

Some of these things are happening already. Stock up on essentials as shops may be closed for a while.

There have been three attempts in US history to install a socialist regime. In each case it was defeated by an overwhelming majority. This election was the fourth attempt and it too was rebuffed with an overwhelming majority. The difference this time was the election was sabotaged by enemies of the state who expected to have their stooge (VP Biden) win by a slim margin by vote manipulation. The overwhelming rejection of socialism was not bargained for hence the over-reaction that made the fraud so much more obvious. Americans do not like socialism, period.

PS. The BoM reckon this year will be the 2nd hottest on record. Could it be they spent the dough for the super computer on a Dominion machine instead??????

Correct. As I said before Americans in general will fight to the death to rid of the leftist cancer when they go too far too long. It’s just a matter of time since the left can’t help themselves creeping further and further towards the dark side. Then watch them go crazier once the true American patriots shine a light on them. Poof they go! They will wish they were never born.

Cap Allon – “And while the MSM waves a warming Arctic in front of the world’s face, what they are failing to divulge, and as touched on above, is that all that polar cold isn’t simply up-and-vanishing, nor is it being sucked into space, or heated by the magical CO2-effect — no, instead the Arctic’s cold is simply being diverted south on the back of a low solar activity-induced meridional jet stream flow:…”

I totally agree Jo. The nice clean thing about knowing fake news, big tech, the courts and all the rest are all against the ordinary person’s will, is that you know it’s up to you as an individual to find ways you can support the fight against the Steal and apply pressure back. I suggested a few such “direct actions” at my place recently. When they own all the big tech, use it as much as you can against them (for as long as we’re allowed to do so). When they control all the big tech, use low tech like phoning around or islands of free comment like the free blogs and the new breed of news aggregators.

There is a rapidly closing window here for ordinary people to act, because if the Steal isn’t reversed, there won’t be any peaceful way back to a democratic republic. A short story I wrote a week before the election is already starting to look frighteningly prescient.

Seems I read that story once before or maybe it was a film. Different characters and a different country but a familiar story one which I never thought possible in the USA but seemingly playing out as I write. The RINOs in the State legislatures have lost whatever spine they had (they could send new electors or refuse to certify the vote) the judges are either complicit or afraid ( either way they are not concerned with truth or justice) and the MSM are advocating mayhem by hiding the facts. A few brave souls led by the bravest of them all fight on. Tomorrow the pretender will claim victory even if it is unjustified and undeserved. He must be an imbecile to claim a victory he must know is dishonest. What sort of a creature does that?

Not much of what comments (above) suggest is going to happen. Likely that is fortunate.

The real struggle will be in 2 years, because then there is an opportunity to “flip” the House of Representives. Then 2 years of stalmate. Then a serious choice and election run-up could begin. Like others, I think Uncle Joe will be gone by then and the Progressive Democrates, with Harris and fellow travelers in charge, will get a careful look.
Further, DJT ought to retire from public view, stay quiet, and let “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) fade like the virus and Panic2020.

JFH, Not only NO but H3ll NO. You don’t have a good grip on what is at stake.

Biden/Harris have already promised to put the US back into the Paris Accord, implement the Green New Deal, make DC and Puerto Rico into new States, open the US Borders to unlimited immigration, raise taxes by 50%, have taxpayers absorb 1 Trillion in student loan debt, and pack the US Supreme Court with additional liberal justices, confiscate firearms, and some of their considered people for high rank want to send Conservatives to Re-Education camps.

Trump needs to fight like the 3rd monkey boarding Noah’s Ark as the rain begins.

It the Clown Car Sociopaths implement their plans as they promise to do, there won’t be and America in 2022 or 2024.

This is what I have heard. Trump asked the Milt about AI’s and solutions to the government problem. One thing led to another. Think about what is happen. This is I believe is the Milt’s plan and Trump supports it. And I believe it is live now.

The US military officer are going to be 100% on side with plan. Simple plan. No violence. Solves all of the Washington spending problems day 1. What is unbelievable is that no one suggested this solution to the ‘government’ spending problem. The concept for the miracle came from Trump. He looked at gov. with fresh eyes. Why cannot wasteful gov, programs for example be cancelled and the money used for better purposes? The gov programs cannot be stopped, even when analysis shows the particular programs hurts people.

US people and the US states will all support it for the same reason. The new Milt system cannot be corrupted and there is no possibility of special interests secretly affecting decisions. It is logical and effective.

What is happening now just helps to prepare the US people for the change. Trump must continue with his winless battle until January!!! This is agony to watch.

The US Milt (with hard evidence and the required events to that trigger execution of the specific plan, red lines crossed) if there the Milt have the support of the President; can execute a no politics soluti0n that will suspend the US constitution/system to make the changes.. ….. But stay as closely as possible to the US constitution concepts, goals, and strategies while the crises are addressed and the US problems are solved.

The new Milt government system, eliminates all of the politics, drama, waste and madness from the current system on day 1.

The fib will be the new system is only temporary. There is no possible way the US will go back.

From what I have heard, the Washington replacement system is: US spending decisions will be made following rules and analysis by a group of young men and woman who have been screened to ensure they do not have any deep political connections, religious, or other ideological beliefs that would disqualifies them from doing the job.

They will be located on a Milt base for security reasons and to keep lobbyists away. The average salary is around $60,000. The oldest person is 47. The US AI who is working with the 305 US Milt Intel Battalion will assist the team.
Trump wanted smart, people who could look at problems with fresh eyes.

      So True!

Hopefully the rest is conjecture. I hope that the USA does not become a military dictatorship. It may be possible to save democracy. It is the worst form of Government, except for all the others.

‘Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…’

        Peter,

Fighting and rioting makes problems, it does not solve problems. The optimum solution has no violence in it. The optimum solution stops the fighting and makes the US people feel safe and secure. The system will by results get the support of all US people.

This is not a Military take-over. The plan is to change the US system, to fix it, not to damage it. The US Milt officers who are involved in it, are proud to be part if it. And they believe the change because it the best option possible for the country. This a great thing.

This a breakthrough that ends Celebrity Special Interest Politics. It ends the ‘political’ system as we know it.

And this great miracle of the concurrence of serendipitous events…. It is almost unbelievable. The Dems by leaving the emails on the Frankfurt CIA server have given the Milt, the official reason to fire the Dems to set the plan in motion.

Trump and the US Milt came up very simple ‘idea’. The ‘idea’ is going to change/save civilization.

The ‘decision’ makers are not generals. The decision makers, young men and women (milt officers, average pay $60,000), who have been screened for biases and connections to any special interest groups, who will make the decisions selecting from all good workable options, that are the best possible option. Inputs, analysis, and so on, for every decision is documented. Complete transparency of the process. No agendas. Nothing hidden.

The US Milt tested their ‘system’. In every case; for every problem the new system addressed; The new system came up much better solutions than the political system had passed. The system cannot find a special interest choice because it cannot be rigged.

What is being proposed is a system that has rules and logic and proceeds to completely isolate the young, professional people who will based on scientific, honest analysis select the best option for the US people.

It sounds like Technocracy – what and how Technocracy has presented itself as and agitated for since before WW2.

I will not accept a system which I do not have a voice in, its decisions, even if it is only one voice among many. I will not accept a system that I have no say in. Democracy as practiced at present falls woefully short of its ideals. Those can be fixed and if they are deemed unfixable, and not fixed, then the proposed system is just another unacceptable tyranny to be resisted absolutely. `If We, The People‘ have our voice stolen away, no matter how it is done, then it is just another tyranny.

I have read much about Technocracy over the decades and all the paeans of praise for it have all — every one of them — ignored the necessary feedback from the governed to the governors. Not one.

I value my freedoms and will not tolerate any loss of them. My say in how I am governed is one of those freedoms I value.

Every human system makes mistakes. A tyranny is even less likely to correct them especially when it doesn’t want to. A tyranny brought in this way may start out all squeaky clean and honest but because it is a tyranny, corruption will inevitably appear — especially when there is no penalty for ignoring it. .

          No thanks.

Elections are the times of the checks and balances. They serve as the opportunities to correct the course of the Ship-of-State, clean out those no longer up to it, replace them, and deliver a stamp of approval for others. It’s a direct form of feedback so long as they remain uncorrupted (Hence Grayling’s civics courses and compulsory voting.) We do away with them at great risk.

I have put up A. C. Grayling’s seven point prescription for fixing democracy, twice in the last few months. We should implement all those points, and measure the improvements they will make in our democracies before we throw the baby out with the bath water just because the dirt on the baby has washed off into the water.

      Night Sky Stuff:

2020/12/21: closest alignment of Jupiter and Saturn in 800 years. (I’ll be out with my binox.)

If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, look toward the southwest. If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, look toward the west. Jupiter is the brighter of the pair. As November began, Jupiter and Saturn were a mere five degrees apart, which is the width of your three middle fingers held at arm’s length.

However, now, they will be low-ish to the horizon: (about or below 30° above the horizon to start) they set a bit before 11:00 pm and it’s not dark in the west here until about 9:00 pm so they will be low-ish in the west. (Southern Hemisphere summer = long days)

Only Republicans are NOT allowed to contest elections, but Democrats – No Problem – Example 1

Republicans RINOs need to Grow a Set!!!

RUSHER: Tilting the scales in the NC Supreme Court chief justice race

This may be the first article you read that claims Justice Newby has in fact won the election for Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. You may ask yourself why this story isn’t being told and why details are so very scarce for one of the closest races in state history. Simply put, it’s not a story that many North Carolina media outlets have an appetite to write, but it’s the truth — and here’s why.

Chief Justice Beasley has declined to concede the election and instead has chosen to protest results in some 87 counties and has filed with the state elections board a record 47 appeals of county rulings.

When all the votes were counted on election night, Newby was ahead. When all 100 counties finished their canvassing process as required by state law, Newby was ahead. When Chief Justice Beasley requested a recount and the totals came in, again, Newby was ahead. The recount is the official result of the race. Justice Newby has won the election, but you’d never know it. So what happens next?

There are two very important efforts running parallel in these post-election activities. The hand-to-eye recount and the appeal process. Every citizen in the state should be fearful of the latter.

So far, Beasley has 47 county appeals to be considered by the North Carolina State Board of Elections. The prescriptions within Beasley’s appeals are troubling — the campaign is asking the state to overturn the local county decisions, vacate county authority over their rulings, and reconsider her original ballot protests. In addition to requesting the state takeover, the appeals explicitly dictate that Beasley “does not believe that additional information need to be considered” which would force the reconsideration to only focus on the lists provided by Beasley (which was previously exposed for disenfranchising Republicans).

if President Trump asked the Defence Force to defend the constitution, what are the odds they would not just obey but leap into action?

I thought the same about SCOTUS regarding the Texas SCOTUS case.
