Who knew that Youtube was your Doctor and Guardian of Medical Truth?
Youtube banned an entire news network for one week today because they said something about one of the cheapest most commonly prescribed drugs used around the world for millions of people for long term use for the last 65 years. I don’t know what OANN said, but if someone can find that story, I’ll add a link to it, not because I agree with it (though I might) but for the sake of free speech. This move by Youtube deprives OANN of income for the next week, and heavies them to change their reporting because there is a three strikes and you’re out rule. It also deprives potentially thousands of people for hearing a different point of view. Thus Youtube is even more powerful than any appointed Minister of Health — it is deciding not only what medication you should have but even what medication you might know of and potentially ask your doctor about.
YouTube has barred One America News Network from posting new videos for a week and stripped it of its ability to make money off existing content after the Trump-friendly channel uploaded a video promoting a phony cure for COVID-19, YouTube spokesperson Ivy Choi tells Axios.
Why it matters: YouTube has been criticized for allowing OANN to spread misinformation using its platform, particularly around coronavirus and the election. This marks the Google-owned service’s first crackdown against OANN.
Details: OANN’s one-week suspension from posting new videos or livestreams is the result of a “strike” YouTube issued for violating its COVID-19 misinformation policy, which prohibits saying there is a guaranteed cure to the virus. YouTube took down the video that triggered the strike.
- OANN is also suspended from the YouTube Partner Program, which means if it wants to monetize its videos again, it will have to re-apply.
- YouTube has a three-strikes policy before an account is terminated. This is OANN’s first strike, but it has violated the platform’s COVID-19 misinformation policy before, meaning it gets no more warnings if it breaks the rules again — just additional strikes.
- YouTube says it does not consider OANN an authoritative news source.
In an Information War, we don’t have to play by their rules. For those who value free speech it’s practically a sacred duty to now share that which the censors most want to hide. Apparently Google and Youtube are afraid people might hear news suggesting that there are alternative cheap treatments for Coronavirus. Please add OANN to your bookmarks. Add Gab, Parler*, Bitchute to your links. Spread the word.
And in the spirit of protest at Dr YoutubeyGoogle — here are scientific discussions of studies on Vitamin D and Hydroxychoroquine and antivirals.
In past posts here we see that the countries that use Hydroxychloroquine appear to also have 80% lower Covid death rates. Other studies suggest Hydroxycholoroquine *may* save as many as half the people who were going to die of Covid. Furthermore, even though the FDA banned Hydroxycholoquine use in USA, at least one respected Yale expert (and many doctors) argue with a long detailed literature review that it should be used early and as soon as possible. And then there is the corruption of peer review, and the infamous Hydroxychloroquine Lancet study of 96,000 Covid patients which ignored Zinc, wasn’t randomized, and has a devastating 12% death rate.
Grant et al say: “Low vitamin D status in winter permits viral epidemics.” (Think about what that means).
Vitamin D levels also correlate with lower rates of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease, dental caries, preeclampsia, autoimmune disease, depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders. Vitamin D influences over 200 genes. It’s so crucial, it was likely the reason northern Europeans evolved whiter skin. (Read this whole post … it’s key to understanding Vitamin D.)
Vitamin D reduced the rate of ICU admission from 50% to 2%. Do black lives matter? A vitamin D deficiency may cause 40% of respiratory deaths in older people. And in one Indonesian study, low Vitamin D levels in patients meant they were ten times more likely to die of Coronavirus.
What happened to The First Amendment of the United States Constitution?
There is a winner takes all free speech battle underway and most of the media will not even acknowledge it. The Tech Giants need a Biden win to keep their protected monopolies safe from antitrust suits and other decisions a freely elected US government might make.
If I post a youtube video anywhere it’s only because I haven’t been able to find an alternative. If readers can find those alternative sources, please let me know.
[*Or not. Parler was subject to a fake “hacked” scare that Twitter let run (can’t think why Twitter would want to tarnish it?!). But Parler does ask for real phone numbers. And was founded by Rebekah Mercer, major Trump donor, but also daughter of the man who founded Cambridge Analytica. Some say use a spare phone. Thanks to commenters. — J]
